Hardwyre
The tards in the comments can't seem to figure it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJIcvGt_obM I love the fact it just simply says "Buh bye!" and is gone without so much as a wheel hop. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Maybe it's an eighth mile track. Looks like it could be 660ft. long. What was the top end speed? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
8-second Datsun? Must be a 1200. Quote Link to comment

I wonder if that guy will ever find a motor that has more top end. I watched his long video and it seems like he would shit on anyone off the line but the higher end cars start to catch up after 3/4ths of the track. Quote Link to comment

The description read 1/4th mile. It did look short to me as well, but he takes off pretty damn fast; much faster than I've seen 10 second 8th mile cars go. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
He's got top end. 116 mph or more in the quarter mile. from four years ago, he's now a second quicker Quote Link to comment
Hardwyre
Went for a ride in a Mini with a Tesla motor in it. There's no more incredible feeling in the world than having 100% torque available at any RPM!!! Quote Link to comment
d510addict
I haven't seen any very recent vids but everything i've seen he pretty much redlines asap........sure hes going 116 but a couple of the built muscle cars he went against in his vids have a much higher top end but no instantaneous torque. It takes time to get into the torque peak in those taller gears. He's already doing top speed long before those muscle cars are still getting moving. Given a long enough track, they'd over take him, but not tonight. :D Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izN1KQFnYa0 I like how it lifts the driver's wheel on a shift halfway down the track. Light weight car... say 1,200 lbs, big hp... 600say, and good traction with drag slicks = win. Quote Link to comment
BRE510
It's a 700HP motor... Quote Link to comment
