ser240z
Thinking about throwing in the towel on my '73 610 coupe. I was just wondering if anyone here had any interest in it. Not running and a little beat, but I do have a good amount of extra parts for it. Scott Quote Link to comment

ser240z
I will miss it. But money is tight and I'm not making any progress on it. I'd much rather someone took care of it the way it deserves. It's also blocking my roadster in and I miss driving that too. Like I said, just thinking about it. I know someone here would take better care of it then Joe Schmoe if I sold it somewhere else. Scott Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Don't sell it to Joe Schmoe; he's who I got my wagon from.. a terrible man, and an abusive owner. Quote Link to comment

The Mk1 crowd can actually be pretty civil, most are not fans of swaps and that type of stuff. I should also add that Mk2 owners can be, pretty much the same a honda owner. Quote Link to comment
RedBanner
I would take an elbow to the face every morning to drive that car, and if you get rid of it, itll be like an elbow to the face every morning when you dont get to. I gota wonder what the 10 other cars are that putts this awsome 610 on the chopping block? Quote Link to comment

I dont own a 610, nor intend to enter the elite ownership of such a vehicle. "71 510 rally race car, 70 Plymouth Duster with 7MGTE swap, 74 260Z, 71 Celica ST, 78 810 sedan, 2 - 79 rabbit Diesels, F550 Ford, Tacoma, Civic and the wifes 2012 Fiat 500" I actually count 11 cars there, besides the 610... 1 rabbit it sublimes, 1 rabbit is the sons cant complain on those, you get at least 60 mpg in them. And rumor has it the 810 has moved on to greener pastures...so space may be made. And Sublime and I are good friends...he had better keep that 610! I never saw it as elite ownership, more of undoing the mistakes Nissan and my father has made in her 38 years on the planet... Quote Link to comment

zerow
thanks So I thought It was a 75, couse the bumpers, when did they change 74? The park bench bumpers appeared in late 1973 for the 1974 model. From August '73 until around December '73, there were transition bumpers. They are the chrome '73 bumpers with chunky overriders cut into them. SublimeDatsun610 has them, if you need a point of reference. Quote Link to comment
