Need help identifying these two dust boots.

Several of the 200sx Doglegs I own have the left boot in them...

I know what I was told they were but if I say so people will just say.... 'oh yeah'. I wanted some ideas of where they might have been used.

Sometimes people don't know that they in fact know something. If I was to say the boot was off an '85 turbo 200sx, (it's not) most people would say to themselves "never seen one so I can't help" and stop right there thinking about it. I was hoping that someone might remember seeing one on something and have just forgot. This isn't a trick question. :D

 

I thought it looked familiar so I took a picture of the one I used on my 5 speed swap on the 710.

 

 

Looks like the left one. I don't remember where I got this, had it forever.

The one on the right looks like the one i just put in 4 speed i my 510 project. I believe it is a truck trans 521or 520 ( only because guy i got trans from only ever had trucks ) and it has the square pan bolted to the, bottom with the drain hole in the middle.
