Not a ton of progress. The fabricator has been busy finishing up a few trucks that were ahead of mine.

But we did get the frame down and the front suspension mocked up.

The rear subframe is set in place, and the front two subrame mounts are done. Its now time to hack up the rear frame to allow for the clearance needed for the rear upper control arms.

Hope to have this done in the next few weeks, so that i can wheel it over to the next shop for brake and fuel plumbing thats needed.

Some pics so far:

That is an awesome build! Looking forward to seeing that completed.

It reminds me of a build I dreamed of doing... A 20s-30s rat rod with the S13/S14 suspension (same rear setup you've gone with) and an RB26 powering it. That fell to the wayside due to my current one.

I'll be keeping an eye on this!

Oh man, joy-joy-joy. You know, I have been busy and a bit slack on Ratsun this year and now that I am tuning in a bit more, I have the pleasure of stumbling on threads like this one that I haven't seen. And it is like I just picked up a full season of a great show on DVD, cause I get a huge fix at one time, rather than having to watch one episode a week. But I am still on a cliff hanger here and can,t wait to see more.

Thanks for documenting this build for us. It is the definition of EPIC.

Brought the rolling chassis home for some body fitment.

First thing was to throw the bed on. Crossing my fingers hoping that I would have little to cut to clear the subframe or QA1 mounts

To my surprise, the bed clears it all!!!!!! no modifications needed.

Now its on to the cab to see whats needed to clear the front strut towers.

Stay tuned!
