NSRz32
I picked up an NOS pair of rockers for my 71 521 a few years back and am just now getting around to putting them on. The old ones are badly rotted and damaged (and so were the support panels behind them) so I got to work. Behind the rocker was worse than the front :( Cut everything out, seperated the side from the floor (floor is getting done too), and welded in a new panel and sectioned it into the front of the cab...new pinch All fitted up and nice Going to cut out the drivers side floor and replace that today.... Other than the two rockers, the backing panels they attach to, and the drivers floor...the truck is super solid. Fun winter project :) Quote Link to comment

NSRz32
What about the body mount on that corner? Cleaned the metal on the body mount with the grinder and cleaned up the new floor pan, going to weld them together during assembly. Quote Link to comment
wayno
 This is great, we need more of this type of project, I would really appreciate close up oics. of the drivers side body mount bolt area, are you just going to shim it underneath, or are you going to weld the crater shaped piece in? wayno Quote Link to comment

The bolt head in the body mount is badly decayed from what appears to have been standing water on the floor for a long time so it nearly flush with the rest of the mount. Shouldn't be too bad. NSR_s30
Yeah it's coming along nicely, not as bad as I thought it would be. Always a learning experience though. Quote Link to comment
