max121
i searched other threads i cant really see how other builds did it. but along the rail where the floor was attached, should i use angle iron to give it strength or bend the edge of my patch panel up?? just its my first time doing this and i wana make it right the first time thx for all the help Quote Link to comment
dspeirn
i just bent the edge of mine. plenty strong and more lightweight than angle iron for sure. ill have pics up in my build thread when i get a camera cord grrrrrrrrr. Quote Link to comment
max121
i found a cold rolled 1x1 angle made from 18 Gage so it matches the thickness of the donor floor. :) what do i use to prime the floor after im done? i looked at undercoating but it didn't say it would work for floors. that benjamin moore iron clad i called and checked its 65 a gallon and i don't need a whole gallon might have to go half and half with my brother for his 70 chevelle. or is there another product that works as good?
