Having a bit of trouble finding a rebuild kit for them tho. I know they are out there cause roadster guys rebuild engines all the time. Quote Link to comment

Azhitman just had a 5 main bearing engine rebuilt to the 2 liter stroker configuration. His source should [yeah, should. would?] be able to steer you to reliable rebuild parts suppliers. More years agothan I will admit, when my engine hit 120,000 miles I was lucky enough to have a local Mom and Pop shop help find Aussie suppliers who had stainless steel valves and small parts that Nissan had on interminable "back order, no due in date" but they were so intent on good service that they went out of business. Good for me in the short run, I cleared a pot load of "interesting" bits, but long run bad for the Datsun world. For complete gasket kits you can't beat Payen. Their head gaskets have proper copper water jacket rings that Nissan dropped after Renault took over. Quote Link to comment
