Galen
So today myself and nick got all the boxes of goodies taken out of the datto. took a look through everything. Ill need a lot of new hosing, and after test fitting the exhaust mani it looks like ill either have to flip the mani and run top mount turdo, or have a new one made (to much chedda for me). the clutch and flywheel need to be put back in, so ill probably just pull the engine to do that since its only a few bolts. while its out ill do the major engine assemblythan drop it back in. I think nick wants to paint the engine bay neon green... why not! After we got all that done we bolted the cage back into place. I still need to get a few more bolts to finish that up but its done for the most part. PICS! . Nick slaving away.. . . Than I got hungry and made a sandwich. Shoulda made a BURGER! We also got some random trim pieces on, got rid of the windshield wiper motors (rainex FTW!!) and pulled out the rest of the sound deadening and other crap that didnt need to be there. -Galen Quote Link to comment

Galen
I havent even thought about the wheels yet. they poke like shit, but ill deal with that when the time comes. there is newspaper in the ports, but your right they should be taped up. lol I mainly was cleaning up the cut that was already made in the tunnle. ]2eDeYe
ground down the (drag?) link. . Why? This is a pretty important steering component that you have compromised. Quote Link to comment
INDY510
Yeah. ... . . .. that should not have been necesary..... It looks like your control arm has the wrong washer......... .. causing the nut to not tighten fully......... thus it hits the idler arm The stock idler arm sits about 1-2mm off the control arm nut........ I have never seen any clearance issues Quote Link to comment

Galen
i just did it the ghetto way. probably not safe but oh well. Took a look at the wheels today. whoever mounted them is a retard and put the wider offset wheels on the front. they have locking lugs so I have to get the key and than switch them.
