I lost to a civic on the freeway today.

a guy in a red 92ish si pulls up next to an integra and start racing, so i decide to join in... I heard the civic hitting the rev limiter and such and it sounded modified. probably a b series motor in it.

 

but then again, I only went from 5th to 4th and my car has no top end :)

my concern is that the stereo will pull too many amps through the factory acc line. I'm gonna hook it up to a relay.

 

I own a 2 door with a ka24de, headers, intake and 2.5 inch exhaust.

Well, when you are trying to race a car that makes more power than yours, and is much more aero than yours, that is what happens. FYI, if you had shifted to 3rd at 70mph, you would have been at approximately 5000 rpm, so not much would have happened.
