I doubt the 220 hp figure because I think 220 hp would pull it along at much higher than 123 MPH. Well unless they were holding something back for bonny. Can't be a '76 if it has 'the stock 5 speed'. :rolleyes:

Very cool. I always like seeing different cars out on the salt (and there are so weird ones out there.) Hopefully I'll be out there this year and be able to see the car in person.

 

Mike, looking at the build pictures I wouldn't doubt the 220hp figure. It looks like they are running an FIA head, as well as other top shelf goods. The 126mph was in a standing mile so that could be a factor.
