nope, one side of the car is greener then the other. Might end up painting it just for shits next time i get a good long weekend. but today is my last day off for the next 2 1/2 weeks.so this is my last chance to get some stuff done for a bit.

i also spent some time cleaning the engine bay and the engine itself.jessi also ended up cleaning the fuse box real well.

Did you use high temp paint on the header? My header was painted with who knows what (I got it for free through the PO of my 510) and it bubbled, smoked and flaked off in minutes after installation (after engine got up to temp).

yes we did, like 3-4 light coats.Ill do one last coat tomorrow if the weather allows.

Love the headlight guards! I need a set. My list is still a mile long. But I bought a shell. Keep at it. Take the tank out and clean it. 4 bolts and a couple hoses.

Do i need to worry about my engine knowing that its had rusty gas in it?????

iv been thinking about it and i can see how that could wear away at things having little bits in the fuel.

there is one, its really really red. Poured the gas out of the filter and it was dark red and thick

i now use 2 stock filters

1 before the elect pump one after.

 

 

keep replacing frequently until the tank is fixed.

hopefully you already cleaned it (did i read that post :huh: )

the car runs, i havnt run it after i saw the filter. Only ran the car for a total of 10min totle from the point i payed for it.

i havnt fixed the the tank yet but im geting the stuff to fix the tank this weekend (i hope).

 

I think i will get a second filter, i guess it wouldnt hurt.

I toke my gas tank to a radiator shop and had it boiled out. You might want to unhook fuel lines and spray carb. cleaner and push through with air compressor.
