DattoScraper
I don't really post anything on here but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask you guys to help me decide. So i finally got another job & I am trying to decide between another 620 or an old 84 Mazda b2000.. I was hoping you guys might be able to help me pick. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
izzo
620......... b2000s are kinda cool but meh.... Quote Link to comment
DattoScraper
Yea but I hardly ever see an old b2000.. This is a tough choice cause both are sick to me. Quote Link to comment
nismo dr
Your asking on a Datsun forum if you should get a Datsun or a Mazda? 620 Quote Link to comment
DattoScraper
I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask,Just cause your on a datsun forum doesn't mean you have to only like datsuns.. my best friend is on here all the time and he got rid of his datsuns and got a vw. Quote Link to comment
izzo
Id go with a courier, like 80-81 with the 2.3. Then put a b2000 grill/headlights on it. I just dont like mazda :D You can even get an older mazda front grille/round light assembly for it. bolt on. those look pretty sick. If your going to get a mazda, ill take you to a place out in Rainier Oregon and get a REPU. 650 with title. Just my thoughts, i know its a hard call. Anyways, heres a repu. Not the one for 650 of course  And yeah, comes stock from factory fender flares. Quote Link to comment
nismo dr
I was joking, my vote is still for the 620, but I like all the classic Japanese trucks. Quote Link to comment
DattoScraper
That's pretty dope but I have my heart set on the 620 or the mazda.. I really just want to know if the nissan motors are more reliable then the ones in the mazdas cause for my job i do alot of traveling in the oregon area and im going to need something that wont break down all the time. izzo
I would say yes nissan is more reliable. Many of times have seen blown head gaskets on mazda motors, along with shitty rings and they smoked. More often than not it seems. to each his own :D Get a b2000 and drop in an L series... Agreed I've never found a Mazda that didn't have a blown motor or didn't smoke. I would go with the 620. Quote Link to comment

1lo620
I have had both and I liked both. I agree that you dont see to many of the older Mazdas. But I own 3 620s at this momant and I liked them alot. So I would say 620...they have a bit more personality... Quote Link to comment

HRH
620, '84 B2000s were better than 86-92 B2000s, but still don't make nearly as much power as the L, and are harder to find parts for since they only had that body style for a bit. 620s had a 10 year run. Quote Link to comment
DatDoug
Get a b2000 and drop in an L series... HA! Thats funny. I got a L20 for my old red KC from a 84 Mazda. You should get the Mazda. Leave the 620's for me :) Quote Link to comment

Have any pics of that? I seen a b2000 or a b2200, cant remember. But it was on Craigs list seattle for a little while, someone had put an A series datsun motor in it. Quote Link to comment
sick620
ok seriously anything that is not a datsun is a piece of shit. This is ratsun not fawcking autotrend magazine. If you have to decide between a 620 and some piece of shiz maybe you should just buy a honda. 1 Quote Link to comment

Jersey
Datsuns are reliable, I've driven my king cab from CA to NYC twice and drove my 510 goon there as well. no problems at all. Quote Link to comment
