Laecaon
you dont need real rivets. Practice painting them. You could make some pretty convincing looking ones. Quote Link to comment
NCRmtrsprts510
can someone photoshop the carbon fiber spook spoiler on my car? http://www.futofab.c...g&id=1&Itemid=6 i wanna see how it looks with the IC and no front bumper Quote Link to comment
The Dat-side
I think VW mk1 deep duck bill looks better w/ no bumper. And flat black would look good with your paint. And for clean rattyness, I say paint one front fender black and white checker or jus gloss black checkers on the body color green or a rising sun flag. Or if you really want a pinup maybe an absinthe type fairy? Quote Link to comment

NCRmtrsprts510
hmm im trying to see what it would look like without the bumper lol Quote Link to comment
The Dat-side
Yeah I didn't see any with out a bumper, thought I had. But in my mind it looks good. There are pics online of mk1 golfs with the lips and no bumpers. That may help. The lips are $55 new too. Quote Link to comment
NCRmtrsprts510
What do you guys think of this? the one on the front fender says "Danger" at the bottom and "Jet Intake" in the triangle... but i dont know if i like it that much.. same with the "Caution" by the exhaust.. and if i did go this route then of course these would be painted on. NCRmtrsprts510
The Green Beast gets MOAR LOWAR! &MOAR STIFF!!1 Got a box of goodies for freeeeee today!! a buncha coilovers and adjusters my cousin didnt want anymore.. What was on there (some cheap lowering springs like 200lbs rate i think) First i tried out the Eibach springs but it actually raised the car up a little bit (collar all the way down) Then I tried these 450lbs rate springs i forget what brand right now. anyone? NOW thats more like it! i think the car with the big blue coils were sitting at 1-3/4" to 2" gap. then for the rear i took a look at the springs and i have some Thick coiled Eibachs back there already, so i think i need a thicker sway bar. philcas1987
Blues are Nissan springs out of the comp book. 400 pounders. How's the ride? Shocks? Quote Link to comment
Wicked Saint
Oh man, I sure hope you trimmed those flares of you are gonna tear em when you drop the car. Quote Link to comment
NCRmtrsprts510
I havent had the chance to take it out yet (rain), shocks are some KYB gas. but it probably rides stiff as hell. but worth it, if it improves my handling. next on the list are ZG flares, and thicker sway bar for the rear, and to actually get one for the front. NCRmtrsprts510
since there is an autocross tomorrow, and i dont want to miss it because its raining, i took action and build a temporary enclosure for my airfilter. got the wipers on and the gas filler hole covered up with some scrap sheet metal ratty.. and someone threw out some racing slicks at my work, there's like 8/32's left on all four, the it looks like it would take a 13x8 or 13x9 rim to fit them, which would be badass on my datto two are 8" wide and two are 9" wide and this pic just cause.. jalen
you need to lower it about 2 inches. no wheel gaps look hell sick on dimes. my brothers (sixty-nine dime) is alot lower than that. Quote Link to comment

He already rubs. And yes he does drive this car. Quote Link to comment
jalen
there is ways to avoid rubbing the tires. and he would have to do a custom oil pan. so he wouldn't destroy it. and put a skid plate on the diff. Quote Link to comment
NCRmtrsprts510
so many unnecessary things for unnecessary things. and my exhaust is already 2" from the ground. no more lower, i am going to get different wheels so that they wont stick out as much, but those will be my track wheels with slicks. but in the order of things, rebuild whole rear end, clean up wiring, roll cage, new wheels, etc. Quote Link to comment
Ballz
Wheels are fine just get some tires that'll stretch. Quote Link to comment
RAlly_DatoB210
Stretch tires don't belong on this. They look weak and are prone to failure. Maybe on a show car but this one needs contact patch cause it still gets ran through the curves Quote Link to comment
