NorCalDime
One of the times my car was towed the person pulled it up the flatbed and then used my tow hooks to connect the chains to the back of my car. The winched down the front and i saw my rear valence pull out and almost crinkle. Sooooo i wouldnt use them :P Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Isn't it a tie-down hook for when they are transported across the ocean? I think it is not mean to tow another vehicle. Quote Link to comment

Dime Dave
Here is what happens when you use the stock tow hook to pull a 510 out of a ditch. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Not a tow hook, it's a tie down. Quote Link to comment
Edz280zx
I believe the ones in front can be used for tow hooks tho. At least on the Z's anyway. Quote Link to comment
HRH
Yeah, I wouldn't use that. On my rally car I'm either building an extension off the roll cage, or welding/bolting a 1" receiver hitch under the rear pan, though that will be tied in somehow to the rollcage also. The rear of the 510 is pretty flimsy for anything other than just staying there. The last time I had to have my 510 towed out of the slush on the rallycross course, I put a rope through the back seat and shut both doors on it, then attached it like a ski tow rope to the other vehicle. Worked pretty well, nothing dinked. Quote Link to comment
