izzo
I used their quote form thing online and dude wrote me back saying they have it in stock at 5.50 a gasket. I asked for rubber shit, not the cork one. Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Geez man, you're having that hard of a time finding a pan gasket? I think I may have one lyin' around.. Napa should be able to get em. Quote Link to comment

Eagle_Adam
No one seemed to have a non cork one..... Of course now that I've done the 4 motor builds everybody will show up with one. I called: Napa Baxter Shucks Discount & Autozone... They all listed cork.. Quote Link to comment
Rhapakatui
Okay, I've been busy with my own car and haven't been reading but.... Wow. I'm stoked you got her back on the road! Congratulations! That motor sounds so nice. Mine is a junker turned daily. People constantly ask if it's a diesel. I'd say that 0-60 vid was kinda weak though. Maybe it just didn't translate well to video, but it sounded like you idled through it. Maybe mine just sounds meaner because of all the exhaust and vacuum leaks. Lastly, I really dig the fender trim. Is that just how you got it? I wish mine had that. Anyway. Awesome car. I have to look at this thread behind my goon so it doesn't see what it could be with a more apt builder. Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
thanx man! the motor is sweet! and the fastest 4cyl L motor ive ever built the 0 - 60 WAS slow, for many reasons, 1. that was the first stop light launch 2. its an auto tragic 3. it had vacumm leaks 4. carbs are not right, just work able 5. and jessi was driving, so she was already blown away by the speed it had gained by then 6. the speed limit there was 45 :P once we get it dialed in ill post another 0 - 60 vid 1 Quote Link to comment

Eagle_Adam
I know I wanna do a manual swap and time it before I worry about a burnout video.... Although, the stock rims and tires won't be needed after the new ones get here.... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Connect the washer pump to a line to the rear tires to wet them down. Once the tire comes loose it's a smoke show. 1 Quote Link to comment
