edekalil
Been looking for these top hats for a while. Then remembered I had a bunch of parts I had put somewhere. When to the next room over by the scaffolding and wala. Now to figure out how all of the front coil overs go together with the strut and camber plates. I believe I can remember most of it. I had bought it all way back trying to do it on the cheap. I also have the old school setup I originally intended to use on the Goon but I have the 300z rims on her so they don't go to waste. So I figured I'll have to go with the newer style coil overs cause of the rims and tires on the Goon. I'll just have to figure what I'll need when the 2 door Sedan gets ready in the future at that time. Also used an old decal sticker I wasn't sure would work but it looks like it did. All in all I plan to lower the Goon soon. 2 Quote Link to comment
mojojojo78
I finally got it road worthy and took it to work today. Still working out some issues, but it drove great. There's a little oil leak at the head and my fuel pump has a slight leak. So the drive home is going to be fun. 6 Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Was getting ready to install the fender mirrors on the Goon and must have took off the plastic base the mirror sits on to figure out what hole saw I needed. Now I'm on the hunt for it. It may take a while. 1 Quote Link to comment

edekalil
Trying to get everything finished up with getting the head on the L20B. I have another cam for the L20B but I believe you can put a stock L20B cam in a L16. If that is true and is beneficial I'll put it in the L16 in the Goon which is running great but greater is better correct? 2 Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Pulled out the 70 Sedan and the front brakes seemed to not be working well. Looked at the master cylinder and the front was low on fluid. I'm guessing the front has fluid seeping out very slowly where I replaced a flexible line. I'll have to check it out tomorrow. And she was doing so good. Edited August 11 by edekalil Quote Link to comment
iceman510
Not really today, but went racing last weekend. Had some fun battles with a two other 510s, a 2002, couple Alfas, GT6 and a TR7. Not a lot of pictures (wife took some but I don't have all of them). Edited August 14 by iceman510 3 Quote Link to comment

Essentially the same as the SSS cam that was offered in Japan. 2 Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Took the Goon to the body shop yesterday and they said sait as far as the framework it's straight but the the metal to the outer side is bent. They where not able to fix it. So I'll just keep having fun driving her. Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Got to look at the 70 Sedan it has a brake line connection slightly seeping fluid. 2 Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Looking at the head getting it ready to go on the motor then found this one tower threads in the head are stripped, my guess is there may be a few more are shot. The Tower's came off a different head. When I got this head it had no cam Tower's. I knew it was a better head without all that casted stuff inside of it like the one I got rid of to get this one. I'm guessing I need to put a helicoil in it or them to fix it. Edited August 18 by edekalil 1 Quote Link to comment
edekalil
I believe I the seeping stopped on the 70 Sedan. No more wetness. Next to bleed the fronts. Edited August 20 by edekalil Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Brakes bled all good now. My solution for old school one person break bleeding. Put grease around bleeder thread area so not to pull air in, then the rest is routine. 1 Quote Link to comment
edekalil
Head is at the Machine shop to fix the cam tower bolt bolt thread's. Quote Link to comment
