All new seals everywhere New seats sound deadning carpet and dash pad cap and cleaning and painting interior parts. Install new rebuit heater stuff (have parts) Finish tc rods (have parts) Install all my new steering components (have parts) Rear brakes and hard line to it. Wheels tires. Work out the kinks from a car that has sat for a long time Eventually paint My orange goon "too do list" Dogleg 5 speed New seats Fix rust around window this summer and re seal (had viynl top) Fix crappy heater Stiffer suspension Install drivers side ball joint and rebuit strut (already did pass side) New bushings tc rods control arm bushings Fix oil leaks (have parts) Wheels and tires (have zx turbo wheels New door seals Non smashed front valance Paint car original orange color Install front grill pieces (have parts) Ok so maybe this might be a almost "wish list" lol! Cut out old trans x-member. 3. Pull motor and prep engine bay: -remove stock LCA/front x-member. -remove remaining stock front suspension. 4. moparvwfreak Posted March 15, 2009 Report Share Posted March 15, 2009 yup. its bigger now but most of the stuff i would have had to do anyway.... stuff to pull front bumper radiator wiring both masters booster steering column doors windows dash seats wiring brake and clutch lines wiper assembly heater box can ya tell i am stripping a cab to replace it??? headliner cut off nose of new cab and whatever else needs to be pulled. welding fix hole in floor pan on the DS of new cab PS is in good shape weld on new core support install EVERYTHING..... transfer over whatever is good replace what needs to be replaced repairmodify 4 wheel disck brakes (eventually) 5spd trans new bed (eventually) console (maybe a VW console if i can make it work) different seats (maybe) Quote Link to comment

Needs: 1) Brakes Bled 2) Seats 3) Grill 4) Bumpers 5) Remount front windshield 6) Double Check Torque of Transmission Mount 7) Register/Insure Once it is on the road. 1) TAKE A BREAK!!! I do have a basic outline though: Get KA mounted Modify/make transmission mount Finish mounting steering column Run wires for engine Get s13 pump into stock 510 tank Finish stripping and bedline the floorboards Fix the dents where the deer ran into my shit Spray bomb the car for the summer :) Get radiator/electric fan Shorten driveshaft Get 2 more steelies to complete the look I want And after its running i need to organize the garage/install garage door opener/line the floor. Take Cab off frame take apart running gear get everything media blasted find a bench seat rewire entire truck (damn rats) send bed out to get lining refurbish tank put body together fix dents and dings find all trim find steering wheel emblem so on and so on as it goes...
