Spotted a Chinook outside my work this morning. I've seen it around town but never got a close look.

My roommate's dad has hunted and killed a lion before. Up in Utah. I'll send him out!

I busted up my knee from a bike fall last year. not mega-busted, but it's scarred for life :( Other then that no real medical issues. I must be lucky :(

Corvette's use one leaf spring mounted all weird-like. I don't know why. I actually asked my dad and he said "Tradition". The newer Vettes handle quite well I understand.

Leaf springs, no lsd, and a solid rear axle will do that to you.

They ride on leaf springs. I think the Roush ones have some upgraded suspension, but unless the brand new ones that aren't out yet have changed, they're on outdated suspension and handle like garbage. Miata's are great fun little cars, but you'll look a bit camp driving one. If he can find a 325i or is, go for it. They're wonderful.

S2000 if you want a really nice car Mustang if you want to buy a brick that can't turn Miata if he wants to have fun.

Depression? /facepalm Does no one realise that the reason the economy sucks is because people are so afraid that the economy is bad that they don't spend money? And as we continue not spending money fearing recession, the economy will get worse. Self-fulfilled prophecy.

The biggest problem I have with cars from The Big 3 is the quality. Sure you can buy a sweet (enter car name here) with a HEMI or whatever, but it's made out of plastic, has a crap motor, and has whatever corners that can be cut, cut. As much as I hate Pacific Rim cars(Daewoo, Kia, Hyundai) for being poorly made and out of cheap materials, at least they sell their cars for what they're worth.

A lot more at the rate our cars leak it :D
