good question. i think out of respect nobody has bothered to find out. i drive by his house sometimes just to make sure there are no datsuns are out front with for sale signs. i dont see the 223 in his front yard, i do see his 521 on the side of his house. poor woman has soo many datsun parts in the basement she probably doesn't know what to do.:confused: i'd like to get his 320.

wow! thanks for the ac pics fisch. i like your gear shift knob. nice braided radiator hose it looks new. i wonder how hard it would be to make that system work. i wouldn't feel bad if you remove it just keep it together as a set if you do. someone would want it i'm sure.

so can somebody tell me why my tire rubs on my sway bar on my 521? i'm running stock rims and tires. here is a pic of the rubbing. from the looks of it both tires rub but one side is worse than the other. it rubs when i turn the wheel all the way in one direction. i forget which side is worse. do i need some kind of adjustment?

did the 521 have the locking glove box or fuel door or radio delete plate or bumperettes? or red light switch knob? package tray?

yeah dates are wong. i change batteries so often when it asks to set the time and i just skip it. also every time i move a pic around on my computer the date of creation updates to the date i moved the pic. i bought a nos glove box lock on ebay about a year and a half ago. found another one in the junk yard.

pklotz70 you are awesome. i looked through all 42 pages of truck postings and couldn't find that thread. thanks for finding it i think it's one of the coolest threads ever. i seen a 6/71 521 a couple weeks ago with factory shoulder harnesses. maybe they didn't come out as late in 71 as we think.

only the late 71 and 72 521's had the shoulder harness. for others you have to fab up some stuff to install a shoulder harness.

there was no threaded nut. someone did a great project write up on some 3 point shoulder harnesses for a 521 on nwde.org but i cant find the thread.
