last week i seen a white 521 in yakima,wa anyone we know? also a few in tacoma that i dont think are on the forum. one i think works off 49th and pacific ave. another on the corner of 56th and yakima (i think there is a shop there). seen a blue goon over across the bridge i think may have been datdoug. there is a really clean 66 520 around the corner from me and the lady says she has no title and wont sell but it does get moved every few months even though the tabs are bad. i'll have to get a pic of that one.

ok i bought the ebay ones that look really nice but the windows are really hard to roll up. all 4 or 5 sellers sell the same exact stuff nomatter the pic they use. i bought from idcozy and gira7777. what have you bought, where and did they work. who carries the felt only style. the ones i bought on ebay are the rubber backed ones. i feel like i need to put my cardboard ones back in that i made. oh yeah i really dont do jcwhitney(crap shot) unless someone has numbers and pics of installed goods. thanks

gauge needles kept falling to the left and i would stick my hand under the dash and tap on the gauge volt regulator and they would work for awhile. i bought a new one. but first i took my old one apart to see what makes it tic. i tried cleaning the contact points and the ground wire and put it back together but it didn't work. my new one reads consistently but the needles are both off to the left about a needles length. the gauges are adjustable and i plan on dialing them in. when i do i'll take a pic or 2. old volt reg. damn thing is so simple inside i couldn't see anything wrong except the points being badly pitted.

recently got a dash cover with my screen name on it after seeing ramos's(forgot his screen name) 521 at the potd meet. pic coming soon. also bought glass run channels from 2 different ebay members gira7777 and idcozy and even though they are the nice rubber backed style they dont fit. meaning the damn window wont roll up cause its too tight. it will roll up but the window crank is going to break and shank me in the hand. i want to find the original style that are just felt with no rubber. that crazy purple 620 at the 2010 potd had the just felt style. i think i'll trim the insides down.

my guess is a old school registration holder. i've seen other styles that wrap around the steering column.

nice. now the truck section needs reorganizing. i always liked how odpl had separate sections for the 320 520 521 620. the truck section here has the most volume out of all the other sections. making it more of a nightmare the search option wont do 3 character searches last i checked.

bottom 2 are 521 style 2. the top is for a 520 and 320 the ring in the bottom right corner screws to the steering wheel for style 2.

for those that dont know this is the position for removing the horn button and assembling it. to remove push down and rotate counter clockwise. to assemble push down and turn clockwise. i'm calling this style 1. the large spring is different between the 2 styles although they look similar. spring style 2 wont compress closed enough to work on wheel/horn button style 1. it might the other way around, i never tried. missing in these pics are the tiny spring and copper plunger to make the horn work. i'll find a pic of it later. style 2 coming soon.
