it's fine. i'd put the cover back on even if the gasket pinched and broke. a little of rtv will do the trick. they leak oil even when you do it right. so slap that thing back together and rock it like it is.

in the owners manual there is no back window slider as a option so i think they were all after market. do you have a owners manual? they're cool to have. some of the nice options to have were the locking dlove box knob, locking fuel door, locking antenna, clock that nobody owns, some of the common upgrades that dont require modifications are the datsun 520 metal dash top, 520/roadster inner metal chrome door pull handles, red hazard switch knob, 520 steering wheel horn ring, rear bumperettes. elephant oil cap, valve cover that says datsun 1600. oh the dome light door switches are one of the best upgrades you can do. the original radio delete is hard to find. how about a interior pic of you truck and a under hood pic?

damn dude i've really been contemplating this one. i just tried to win patd's original 521 on evilbay but lost. if i sell a few of my cars first i'll be more comfortable buying this. i should quit being a pussy and just man up and buy it.

damn 4 grand was about my limit.

i could be wrong but i think the stock ones were stapled to the truck. this one did have some metal bracket pieces that were fairly thick. i did reuse them. i could have sworn they were supposed to be closer to the tire though. time to look at the stock owners manual pic. i like the 620 flaps. next time i see some decent ones in the yard i'm gonna get them.

hmm i just noticed that they are placed on the next bracket back. but there they are.

finally a thread where my old nl320 fits in.

go with the regular cab white one. king cabs are nice but you'll be siliconing the shit out of that sun roof before too long. the floor pan is probably on it's way to rust heaven. this sucks cause the kc has disc brakes and electronic ignition. besides the white one looks better.

is the clutch still slipping a little?
