I got half a plate from torrance datsun. Going to weld it with another metal frame to complete it.

That was probably a tool used to tighten the head bolts. Must of fell in. Never seen something like that in an L engine. The oil pan bolts are longer than others. The pan is supposed to have an L shapped washer that has like 6 holes for longer bolts.

My spot is A&G auto parts. I don't go to any chains anymore unless I really need too. This "mom and pop" store will get any part the same day from warehouses around the area. Always will hook me up with a lower price than the competition. And carry cheap and top notch parts.
