What? To far? Anyway went for a ride today and i haven`t put shifter boot on or sealed up hole where autoshifter came through i can smell pretty much everything the car has to offer. But on the way to store to get gas, i could smell burning rubber like smell but it kinda went away the farther i drove. Them when i got home i checked under car and the exhaust clamps i was using as "spring holder upper deals "was hitting the raised lettering on tire.I had to break down and fix it right so i cut a 2" pipe and clamped the collar on strut and tacked it now it is done... For now Funny thing is the after picture looks even closer, but it`s just the angle ....Also needed a rear view for the drivers door and the door i got had mirrors that hung from top but for the life of me i dont know where they are, Sooooo i had a stock one but the original holes were huge so welded those up and drilled new ones. .......Little by little i am going farther and farther away from house AND oh look the mail man is coming UP THE DRIVEWAY!!

The one on the right looks like the one i just put in 4 speed i my 510 project. I believe it is a truck trans 521or 520 ( only because guy i got trans from only ever had trucks ) and it has the square pan bolted to the, bottom with the drain hole in the middle.

OK thats enough horsing around , Made a air filter fit the car, since i used a Weber that was not ment for car i had to cut original holder for a 81 ford mustang 2.3 and used a filter for a 73 Maverick Grabber and this is how it turned out.. Odd shaped air horn TO BIG Cut off sides And thats it I was hoping i could find a much taller filter to give it a more dirt track look but maybe in the future..And i had filter on hand.

Yes a helmet would probably help alot i try to use both hands one on trigger and one as far down the neck as possible. I only use .023 it welds SO much easier on light gauge. My friend uses flux core wire to weld everything. And maybe in the to much information file but.. I have gas

Finished up a bunch of small crap today like removing broken fender bolts, putting gas tank in, replacing park brake cables, and just generally going over all bolts under car for tightness. Also the headlight ring was broken and i thought no sweat i will just use one 521,620, or maybe the 200sx. BUT the legs on the ring are alot longer so i had to reweld them back together Busted ring After welding ...light was out when i welded it. That 70s anti gas theft thing

Finished the brake / clutch pedals, by welding pad on and drilling holes and running return spring for clutch.Put the door on and test fit fender but still have to drill out broken bolts ,per usual. The door was bought to dry car in so it is kinda dented and whatnot but it will work for now. And the for some reason the gas tank isn`t rusty at all so wont have to clean it out. pictures and shit strut lowering devices Finished pedal assemblies ....NOT as crooked looking as picture shows How many days till Canby?? Try to go like half way in for like 5 quick strokes then push all way in over and over ( no stopsies ) . The problem you are encountering is the same one i ran into just the other day after rebuilding a back up master cyl and blowing air through lines to clean out any old crap that might have been in them And do both at once not one at a time Just keep at it, it will give in

Got this carb off of a 521 from a friend , and he was pretty proud of his workmanship actually.

The lack of seal on inside of bearing was the reason i choose the double sealed bearing style, but this sounds like it might be a viable solution. Philcus did you fill whole hub with grease? Maybe a couple of zerk fitting placement pictures that you guys came up with.....Please.

The thermostat didn`t open while i was checking voltage regulator, and figuring out wiring so i hope i didn`t blow head gasket Temp only got to about 200 because there was no radiator cap on, so water gushing out to of radiator got me to turn engine off pretty fast. But in better news brakes are done now i just have to wait for collector plates to come in mail Changed out all rubbers and everything, but master cyl that is 8 days (( ?? )) out so rebuilt the best one i have works great for now but it will be nice to get NEW one on there.. ME = very happy No front pictures for some reason..

A better cam would help a little,, i see your in South Dakota but there is a cam place in Tacoma WA. Delta camshaft that can cut anything you want, mail order and a weber carb seems to wake almost anything up not so sure about 100 hp ( doubt it very much ) but a little more power anyway.Make the best out of the power plant you got and make car look sweet.Cuz like Rally_Dato said it is what it is,, but it could get great mileage and look awesome.. example: from a Japanese car show Now show us pictures of yours!!
