Hey man, you should drive by the guys house in Tenino with the blue one and see if he might want to buy it..It`s the one on that side road over by the hotdog stand ( Ed`s sunset grill ) that`s apart he may want it and has absolutely no internets. He`s a real cool old dude and would at least appreciate checking it out. The house looks like a tweekers but he`s just an ol hippie and could give a shit what the neighbors think.

If it was made from an early Datsun , wouldn`t it be a really skinny trailer?? Early chevy 1/2 tons and some cars are 6 lug and look alot like those ..what`s the measurement backing plate to backing plate??.. They appear to be front axle welded up to me also.. it looks like chevy to me

My trans was sounding pretty bad so i am going to change it out for the one that came in my sons 78 but trans was very low on oil and bell housing was caked with it . Changed the input shaft seal with the one that was in car and ordered a output seal that will be in sometime next week ..And had to change out the old two piece metal shields for the one piece so changed the rear main seal that was slightly leaking around crank .. I changed the seal for a Voltron one so being a Star Trek fan im kinda psych-ed to see if it will now go into warp drive. VOLTRON !! :lol: mixing and matching to make one non rattling/clanking leaking trans and work stopped while neighbor cut down the tree ( right in front of Toyota ) that i dreaded falling on my shed every time the wind got up over 40 mph..this tree being gone is the best part of my year so far. :cool: :cool:

The original brakes dont look like ZX to me either,,, mine have that piece of metal bulging out across the caliper next to the hub..I dont know early zx stuff though as mine is an 83..

Truck looks real clean . im a little late to the party but ,,if it was up to me i would keep the L motor the dependability is proven and easy to work on,

your new bushing dont have the outer metal tube .? are they aftermarket type 2 piece poly.? if they are and they fit tight with that tube removed then ,,,,there you go. maybe.
