  1. Not having holes is the reason i didn't look to hard at them.. My car isn't nowhere near as low as yours so i don't really have any problem with fast tire wear..
  2. What the duece man,, not one of these were my suggestions. I have seen those on Ebay how do you figure out where to make the holes for the strut tower bolts??

  5. Your in luck we just happen to have a 71 econoline right next to the ole milk truck box van .. It comes complete with the optional 70s bubble window on the upper rear corner.. I wish i was still joking :crying: (edit) this will be the only thing played at your stay at, Casa le Vida Auto ,,,,,,,,,,,,, EVER!!
  6. Yeah but with these South sounders we got,, it would be the same as always ,, me, Ted and Donovan wondering what excuse was going to be perpetrated on us again...
  7. Unfortunetly we have no school buses at the moment we do however offer an "exclusive" box van experience with a old flat bed next to it if you desire a deck for entertaining.
  8. Well I am thinking of renting out some of the junkers up on blocks in the front yard as summer cabins. Tables and couches could be moved over from the neighbors yards for a nominal fee.. Reserve now for great spring rates.
  9. If i wanted to see a bunch of actors with bad teeth i would go to see the Appalachian road tour of Romeo and Juliet.

  11. The ZX intake has full webbing(?) in between the runners which would IMO make it impossible to cut and piece together. The one we have on the shelf is an older type,,, without the webbing. HRHs' friend made it.
  12. I remember as a young person always seeing those Hooker header kits for all the compact cars in the hot rod magazines ads.. That's kinda cool in itself.
  13. Well i know just the thing to cheer up our sad little man.. [/url]
  14. Dude you have unknowingly designed the new retro Chevy 66 chevelle prototype :D
  15. By the pictures of your carb it doesn't have any choke or linkage of any kind.. Looks to be removed. Top picture ,, yes filter goes there, you should be able to find the exact style that futs there pretty easy. Bottom is a water line,, if you have the parts guy walk you to the back they usually have a large selection of weird hoses that can be made to fit nicely..
  16. I believe it`s 12mm X 1.25 i dont remember how long maybe an inch and a half . i buy all my bolts at the ACE hardware they seem to have a butt load of different sizes. I shop mostly at the one out on 93rd by the pilot truckstop ,, but the one in Tumwater has quite a selection too.
  17. Maybe i shouldn't have said anything.
  18. The old ( yes if your reading this ,, you are old ) L motor freaks say run as much compression as your wallet can afford at the pump..
  19. Wow now that's depreciation,,, cuz i remember leaving 2 with you.. What size is that? Two collars enter one collar leaves
  20. Did you notice that if the girl in the picture had a more pronounced moustache it would look just like DatWifey?
  21. Yeah but if you use a good compressor and not have a 18 year old beating on the piston with the RUBBER HAMMER of DOOM.. it should go pretty easy. My compressor was bought some times in the late 80s .. To help settle your nerves a tiny bit i went out and took a oic of my ring compressor to show we aren't exactly working with Richard Petty racing quality tools to begin with..  The over lap is what dropped down into the cylinder like this picture shows ( i was taking a picture of the bulge ) But being nervous to do it right is what makes it worth it when nothing goes wrong..
  22. SU test engine moves on ,, we tried getting some higher compression pistons out of a L18 we had laying around. We got the pistons out in a usable condition but i broke the bottom ring land on the first piston i cleaned up trying to get that soft sumbitch outta there, then went to Tumwater pick a part (which is now picknpull) and pistons are now $24.99 plus $2.99 core for each piston, so we scrapped that idea and went with the originals ,,, oh well. L18 it's pretty fucked up,, we have others that could have been picked for parts but would rather those be saved to be actual running engines. FAT510 honed it but i had him go easy as you can see by the top of ring pattern in cylinder but figured if it breaks rings it's already out of car anyways and it might be a good (and cheap) learning type thing if any do end up breaking,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ok i was to cheap to have it bored.. :P :fu: Not real ground breaking but it is something ,,and we only bent 1 oil ring because of crappy ring compressor.
  23. I had just looked this up about a month or so ago and wondered where it is now .. But i was afraid to ask . Are you thinking going with this type style truck ,, or dumping and adding ferris wheels like all the kids are doing now?
