Yeah they were a little known powerplant used mostly in automobiles sold mostly to obese women and dwarfs.. Datsun thought that the L20b having the symbol for weight in it would scare away the hefers and the smaller numerical size would appeal to the little people making them feel larger. At least that's what i read in the service manual.

My wifes nephew had just moved there permanently about 2 months ago and was so happy,, he got out right before this went thru but i feel bad for him. -
Yeah on airbags ,, i think the car was going to be his daughters but she wasn't quite old enough to drive yet. But that was last summer ,, not last , last summer but the summer before the last summer.

Yeah car was pretty straight it should look good if he finishes the paint job and not just primer black it or something.. I think freaky510 has a pretty nice 2 door w went to one of his pizza parties but had forgotten a camera.

Trouble with Installing L20b in 510, with Dogleg

I unbolt the idler arm on the passenger side (two bolts) and linkage drops right outta the way sometimes it helps give that little bit of movement you need. Cussing at it helps tremendously also. Just to be clear only the idler arm to body not whole steering. -

That's funny cuz more than half of the young Toyota dudes we hung with outside said the same thing about the 8:00 time. The other half were just cheapasses like us..

Doesn't a 77 L20b have a single exhaust outlet?? Are you going to switch intake and exhaust manifolds over from the L20b to the 1600?
