Couldn't he use one of those short 720 trans also?? I would think using Flats driveline and trans crossmember,,,, longer trans would be way easier to locate and probably cheaper.

Automagical trans car like Flatcats will have the same driveline as longtail 620-280z trans you just need to switch bellhousings ..

Needed an alternator for our 1983 280zxt ,,,,alternator i just bought was from 1984 maxima as the 83ZX in yards alternator had a weird squeek and we were already there at the junkyard... Question..... is the black plug (that wasn't plugged into car) a needed ground ?? Or extra ??The one diagram i found seem to show a plug type ground but i didn't really want to just ground it and hope for the best.. The 83 just screws into housing and doesn't have this extra plug.. I think this is probably a yes or no answer but i'm just being safe as i couldn't find a picture of alternator with this plug on it.. Pictures .. Diagram i found but not sure if it applies as the E is a different spot on housing (upper right like normal)

Well that's weird when i stole it ,, it took up the whole screen and was clear as day,, now it's tiny and if i blow it up it is fuzzy as hell.... I guess you freaks will have to take my word for it but this thing is tight..

Your already done by more than a few days but when i splice tubing with hose i use the double flare tool to make a tit at the end so the clamp can never just slide off... Not a full double flare just the first jig that makes a bubble, not sure if i'm over thinking it in the worrying dept or not.

At the pilot on my way home from being ditched ,,, TWICE! 73 4speed with new carb. Was brought up from California, being traded for a Karmann ghia. No body rust except on the tailgate hinge where it rubs, very, very clean ,, the rear bumper and wheels looked like they were brand new... There was a new front bumper in bed. Casket handles were weird but would/will fit right in around here.

So you have a 38.5 mm and think you need a 52.5 what kinda play do you have between slave and arm if you put slave on without rod ?? Or is that the 3/8inch your talking about? I read ealrier posts as the throw out is to close ( preload tines) to pressure plate but later posts would seem to say it's to far away ( blew out slave) ... :confused: But that was my interpretation

For the record i do love cabbage.. :blush: Tumwater pick a part 80 Kcab brown interior ,,, if you are after the radiator in near perfect condition we put it gently in the bed.. We were only after the solid fan and pulley.. and all the headbolts cuz i am a hoarder of such treasures.
