Mine used to do the one dim every once in a while,, and i was in a parking lot one time in the middle of no-where, thumping on the relay and stuff,( again),, and some dude named Ron,,,,,,, walked over and fiddled with the wires coming out of the bottom of the fuse box.. and fixed it.... Not sure what he did but it was definitely on or in the fuse box. At least for me it was I later soldered in a Bosch type relay and the lights were brighter all around,, so i would do that as well.. It's the whole peninsula really ,, they cruise up and down.. If you go down there when that is going you just find a place and go with it............VERY touristy hell type towns,,, and that is coming from someone who grew up on the beach

Seems to me the problem when we installed SUs on my sons car ,, is it's kinda hard to tune them completely with out taking quite a few test runs and such. you can set idle and what-not but there seems to be quite a bit more to it than just that... Putting them on and hooking the linkage up is the easy part .. Are you sure your floats are in perfect working order??
