  2. Did you drain/fill the rad ? Run it idle without the rad cap until it warms up, put the cap on and see if temps are better ... Only time I ever had a temp issue that was the fix.
  3. @ indy, You are only allowed to get one after Ruby is finished. :sneaky:
  4. NEVVEEERRRR!!! unless...
  5. so, 5.7l / 8 = 0.71l per cyl 2.0l / 4 = 0.5l per cyl... They are saying 1.8 jet for 2.0l 4 cyl, 1.9 or 2.0 jet for 2.2l ? so a 2.2 jet or something would work. Makes sense to me, maybe someone who has done it before can give you a good starting point.
  6. You are thinking effective rate VS real rate, 1000lb rear spring is like 300lb or something effective rate because of how the stock trailing arm spring mount works!
  7. Man boosted on R1 carbs I'd love to do that !! is that L16 ?
  8. @kushyD562, not without modification. http://www.311s.org/....php?f=2&t=9547
  9. Wasn't it called Sonoma raceway at some point before ? Man I want to take my car around that track some time ...
  10. Sears point, AKA Infineon raceway... I've been there once to watch an audi driving event... but I could not drive anything. :( Looks great!
  11. Anybody got a stock L20b cam? edit, nevermind got found someone who will sell me a setup. I'll probably make it to this meet!
  12. Consider using an AE86 LSD axle.
  13. OR you can just get 15x8 +0 Konig rewind which are already 4x114.3.
  14. I know that guy, he useto work at my local kragan. Cool car, everyone has their own little style I guess.
  15. ^This, I had some on top of all my fuse connectors while I didn't have a fuse box cover, and it caused my brake lights to stop working eventually. cleaned out the fuse box and reset all the fuses and everything works fine now. I would not use dielectric grease in between any connections!
  16. Hello all, I am looking for a good condition FS5W71C KA24 transmission to swap onto my L series engine using the ZX bell housing. If anyone local has one available for cheap let me know. Thanks.
  17. Looks good, I have the same Konigs. I just put a ton of camber in the front to stop it from rubbing, seems to work fine and grips well. Would rather have less camber, but its better than tearing up the tires until I have the ZX setup...
  18. Yeah, all the euro guys have done it a million times already. Its time we catch up!
  19. Its a Z series engine.
  20. Or drill the jets. http://www.amazon.com/Jewelers-HSS-16-Piece-Micro-Bit/dp/B001D8SUY6/ref=sr_1_23?ie=UTF8&qid=1335724304&sr=8-23
