  1. You're not supposed to block the PCV vent. :geek: You actually need that
  2. That sounds GREAT, I got a set of CVK40's that I need to make an intake manifold for.
  3. Asshole :fu: It actually turned out pretty awesome. During the night, we apparently had a pop up shower that wasn't on the forecast because I have light spotting on the bed rail, but nothing bad. It'll all color sand out. All in all, I'm satisfied! One thing I have to mention though, is that you HAVE to use more reducer then what they recommend. On the passenger side (the first side) I used the recommended ratio and I noticed that the gun sprayed uneven amounts. It was very spotty and inconsistent, but overall not terrible. I was able to fix it after adding more reducer and another light coat. The drivers side over all is pretty nice. No runs, minimal orange peel, and smooth. Just needs a color sanding to fix where the bug were :crying:
  4. Thinking about some ink. Not really decided on what I want, but I know it's about damn time I mark myself with something Datsun. I was thinking about getting Lil' Hustlers somewhere, but I'm undecided.
  5. I'm expecting better pictures in the morning :fu: I wanna know more about that rack & pinion setup.
  6. That's nice! Gonna have to watch this one.
  7. What did you click on dude?? All you had to do was click my link in the first post and change the VIN in the URL to your VIN  FYI guys, that link won't be good forever, it's eventually gonna drop. Use the first two steps to generate another.
  8. Awesome! So three years later and you're finally getting to the boosted motor  And I really love that color!
  9. Yeah, most of my stuff isn't recent. I don't really have the time to read through anymore.
  10. damn, I can't keep up with the conversation in here :poke: I surrender. I'm not a big enough post whore anymore

  13. http://www.fordofkirkland.com/autocheck.aspx?vin=PL510388072 Doubt it's imported. It would have to be RHD.
  14. Some generic yellow tractor paint from Tractor Supply. It's an Enamel that I used with a recommended reducer and catalyst hardener. The longer it sits to dry, the glossier it gets. I'm really starting to like the color. It's pretty close to the factory color. This truck was resprayed several years ago with a cheap enamel but there are still corners where the factory color is still visible.
  15. Okay, it's settled. Picked the bugs out, re-coated it, and it's been drying now for about 1.5 hours. Not a gust of wind and no moar bugs so I'm a lot happier. Just need to let it sit for a few days and I'll wet sand/buff it and put on some wax. The longer it sits, the glossier it gets.
  16. Really? I wonder why. I ran my 620, 210, and a few friends cars with no issue.
  17. Looks better in oics! Bastardly bugs and wind screwed me. It was nice and clean out, wind came out of nowhere and a BUNCH of bugs came and hit the fresh paint on the first coat. Picked 'em out with a razor blade, but now the winds going like crazy and killed my chances of finishing it off. The wind screwed up some fresh paint that was only 10 minuets or so old. Got a few small runs but meh... I can fix that. As much as I could. The majority of it was right at the seam of the bed so i couldn't get body hammers in there to knock them out and bondo wouldn't cut it... when I get a chance to down the road, I'm gonna end up with a different bed on the truck. This one's shot and someone's welded on the tailgate hinges, which is also pretty beat.
  18. http://www.fordofkirkland.com/autocheck.aspx?vin=hl620290871 Records check out according to vin on sales paperwork.
