  1. Sucks about your job situation. Have you considered any local parts retail stores in the area? They're usually pretty easy to get into if you have any auto knowledge.
  2. Ditto. I just smile back at the days gone by and hope that someday, the world will be good again.
  3. Random picture updates. Rebuilt the petcock with new seals/o-rings. Mikuni powersports? Awesome.
  4. I'm pretty sure a KA clutch will already bolt to an L20B flywheel???? Correct me if I'm wrong..
  5. Wire brush to start, so we can see the extent of the damage. may have to replace some metal around there.
  6. Nice project. Castrol fan much? Welcome to Ratsun fab school.
  7. Going to court in less then 12 hours. I'm excited, but at the same time nervous. Not sure how it's gonna go down, but either way I WILL WIN.
  8. Ask a question about a part for sale, get ignored because someone posts after you wanting it. WTF?

  9. Varsity would be cool. I'll start a planning thread soon once I can talk with a few more guys that aren't on here often.
  10. Wooooo more GA truck guys. Yup! The H190 truck diff didn't come in many different gear sets though. Look around in the yards through all the 620's and see what the ratio is on the tag under the hood.
  11. Summit Racing sells a 16 gallon cell with sender unit for about $200. The sending unit is a 0-90ohm. You could set it up in your truck, but you'd need a new gauge to go with it.
  12. Have fun  Seems like the best way to break it in quick is to have fun. EDIT: the guy that runs GOZA Machine Shop down in Acworth rebuilt a SBC for my brothers C1500 back in 2009, and his break in was great. He had us run the engine up around 3K RPM for about 10 minuets or until up to operating temp, and then take it for a hard drive. After the first drive, compression tested perfect. Never had an issue with it.
  13. Still got this? I'll be in the Daytona area in a week or so.
  14. Very nice. It looks super clean.
  15. We'll have one up soon. Gotta take time to arrange it. Anywhere in particular you'd like to see a meet?
  16. According to the model number/patent info, the exhaust wasn't intended for this model year bike, but it was designed and fitted to lots of Park services 'fire patrol' bikes in the mid/late 70's as well as some California models. Someone adapted it for the headpipe, because the KV100-A7 was never listed as the approved bikes. The welds on the headpipe don't look factory, but maybe they were. I don't have any clue. Googles provided an interesting history to similar bikes.
  17. Yeah that caught me until I researched the factory spark arrester and patent number, and it didn't match the factory exhaust setup for the '75 KV100-A7. Stock exhaust had a KV100 ID plate welded to the case on the outside. I gotta go through some ID numbers to confirm with the chart I found on an old kawasaki ID site to confirm it's forest use. My old CB175 had GA state trooper service stickers on the front fork, and under the seat it had a service history printed. Unfortunately, when I tried to clean off the grease, they fell apart so I have no good pictures on it :(
  18. This just got a lot cooler. Wire brushing the exhaust, and found this under years of spray paint, rust, and grease. According to google, this bike was at some time used by the US Forest Service as a trail bike. not a factory spark arrestor with KV100 cast in the side at the rear.
  19. Just ordered 80lbs of blast media.
