Ya, I bought a 24'' cutter, set up a little office in my spare room. Got some chrome, and some black on the way. I only did the stripes as a mock-up, but I took a few steps back, and decided I like the look. So I'm goin with it. Doin a bunch of work for my boss' fleet, so that should bring back about 70% of my investment right away. Did you see how I changed the nose and fur line? Any input , like/dislike?

LOL, I went to two different picknpulls today on my lunchbreak. Left all clean and professional lookin, and clocked back on all greasy and muddy. I worked in a wrecking yard for a couple years pulling parts all day everday. I fuckin loved that job but the pay was shit! $10 an hour :( The junkyard atmosphere just does something for me. Tody I got me a sporty B210 steering wheel, some marker lenses and trim, and a 5spd. Tomorrow... Who knows :D

2 bucks to get in. Check inventory and part prices online. Not likely to find a stock tach, but good luck :D I've been thoroughly enjoying the 1/3 off sale this week. Get signed up for the toolkits rewards program when you go. That sale has been on since wednesday for cardholders. They usually start the %50 off sales a day early for members. And they've got stuff like double rewards points days. It's a slick program, and it's free. Make sure any free parts are in your pockets, not your toolbox.

Can you post some pics of this z dizzy? It's tough to find those early harnesses :( wouldn't mind having one myself. There's a '74 at pnp, but not sure if it's correct, or what shape it's in. Think i'll go check it out right now actually. I've got a matching engine and dash harness from a late 620. Why are you replacing the harness?

why don't you just have him ship you the bellhousing if your 5spd is good? Would be a lot cheaper, and accomplish the same goal... Anyways, I think "same price + shipping" may kill that deal, lol. If he would answer my PM's and let me come pick it up, I'd give you the Napz bell for your KA swap for free.... + shipping, lol.

You should post a pic of the wiper motor. It's probably same as the 620 one. If so I have a nice one I could ship to you.

Red vinyl came in the mail today. Cut some 5'' ratsun decals, and a 8x8 sample of my work's logo to show the boss. If he pays me to vinyl our new box truck, my cutter is paid for by the first job :D

Wanting to buy a 71B 5spd from a 720 w/ Z20-22 motor to put into the 620 kc. Can't I just put the L motor bell housing on the 720 trans???

I suppose you might be able to put the older 620 5 spd. case on the 720 5 spd. tranny, would need to look into the shifting rod sizes first, your 620 5 speed bad?

Why don't you just look around for a 1980 720 5 speed, it already has the L block housing on it.

That engine and dash harness won't work for your truck. -
I test all the headlight switches I sell on my '72 before I ship them out. Even the fiber optics '79 switches work on my '72. The HL switches work for all years, though they have differences. Before I sold this truck, I put a switch from a 78 in it. To the OP, there aint nothin wrong w/ that switch mang, I would look elsewhere in the circuit. That thing was in pristine condition when I installed it...
