  1. I just read from start to finish, reminded me of a similar situation at my work a few years ago. One of my coworkers loved orange soda, so kept a 2L bottle in the lunch room fridge. He started coming in to find his almost full soda bottle almost empty the next day. Another coworker told him to put a few drops of Visine in the soda and that would cure the thief. It worked, evidently it gives you the worst case of diarea you ever heard of, lasts for 2 or 3 days.
  2. Steve, That is one sweet job, now I have a pattern to go by when I get ready to do mine. When you get a chance I'd like to see more photos of the steering mods, that last one was a little blurry. Keep up the great work, I've missed your updates on the other truck, I've learned a lot from you.
  3. I finally got my Flowmaster Super 44 and installed it yesterday, today I'm making mods to the custom alternator mount I had made to put on a 280ZX alternator, to get it to clear the oil pump.
  4. Nicest 720 I have ever seen, hope you are going to use a Centerforce clutch. I used to have a Mitsu GSX and a stock clutch will not last behind a turbo engine. Sure wish all those photos weren't deleted, so I could see all the progress.
  5. Here is what I have been up to lately, still slow going as my back still get's tired fast. I have dehooked the bed, gotten all the major dents out of the wheels in the bed, and tacked the first filler panel in place to make the bed contour match the cab. I'm also cleaning the underside of the wheel wells of the undercoating and rust, so that I can repaint them and coat with spray on bed liner.
  6. OK Bob, Don't make us wait too long, how did things go today? I'm pooped after all the walking and drooling today, Took lot's of photos, one car was right up your alley, a BMW Isetta, with a Suzuki 1100cc motorcycle engine for power. I have no idea where the guy got the trick wheels and tires in that size to fit it, but it has got to be a blast to drive with about 4 times the stock power!
  7. Sorry Bob, Cut me some slack, I'm an old fart, and have lot's of senior moments.
  8. Bob, you have something to be proud of, it is by far the nicest 521 I have ever seen. I want to talk to you in person before you start on the 620, I have some info you might be interested in before you make any final decisions on drivetrain.
  9. Bob, It's beautiful, except those headers need to go to Jet Hot! If you don't have enough time to make it to make it to Canby, you could always go to Good Guys in Loveland. They have an autocross on Fri. and Sat. Then there is Pueblo the end of the month, two great shows. Wish you would answer my question tho.
  10. Here here, I agree whole heartedly, you guys making excuses in your heads why you can't do this now are making a big mistake. If you wait, you will be out of luck. If you remember from my posts a while back, I wasn't real happy about the price, but I realized that if I didn't pay now, I would not have the seals that I need, so I was one of the first to prepay. You guys had better step up now, or start making plans to weld up your KC windows to keep the weather out! :o
  11. Thanks, now if I could only find the small piece for my gauge bezel, I could get the rest put together.:D
  12. Get a Flowmaster Super 44, they have a deep tone and are great for performance. My Jeep had a high dollar Borla stainless exhaust system on it when I bought it, then I got rearended by some dumb flight attendant on the way to work. With the lift and big tires, the only thing that got damaged was the exhaust, it acordianed. I replaced it with a Dynomax tailpipe (mandrel bent) and Flowmaster Super 44, and my mileage went up 11/2 mpg, so very efficiant along with the great sound. I'm ordering one for my KC as soon as payday rolls around.
  13. Great work Jason, How long til kits are available? I love your engineering, and want a similar setup for my 620, but I want to run air bags in the rear, so I can still use it to haul stuff and keep the same ride hight. I just ordered Addco bars, and today I installed KYB Gasadjusts, so next payday I will be ready for my rear disc brackets. Tell me about those front discs on that project you just did, they look like a big improvement over stock.
  14. OK, I finally made some real progress on my truck, back is feeling a lot better. I installed the rebuilt dash, and heater. Cleaned and resealed all the ducts. I installed longer studs in the front hubs, machined them for the new wheels, repacked the wheel bearings, and installed new KYB Gas Adjust Shocks in the front. Last week I polished a Datsun L18 valve cover I picked up a while back. I will be installing it when I adjust the valves next time. Also I've been beating on the dents when I've been in the mood. Here are the latest photos of some of what I've got done.
  15. Bob, Do you ever answer your pms? :poke:
  16. Come on don't tell me no one has an old damaged dash bezel laying around? :(
  17. I need a set of stock 620 hub caps in good condition. :D
  18. OK I'm starting fresh since I've had no responses from the previous post. I'm looking for broken 620 Dash bezels or parts of them. Also I'm looking for a set of stock 620 hubcaps. Any help is very welcome.:)
  19. I wonder if all the people that flaked on Tom realize how many other people they have screwed by not honoring their commitment. Not just Tom, but the company that tooled up for production, and all of us that stepped up and paid for ours in advance, and now our projects are on hold waiting for the flakes to do what is right. I bought a new headliner, plus windshield and rear window seals, and a new windshield. I already pulled my windows, and old headliner, straightened out my roof and all prepped for paint, but now I have to keep my truck inside till I get my seals so I can finish it. I'm sure I'm not the only one that is anxishly waiting for their seals so they can move on to other things that need to be done. So all you guys that said that they would buy the seals, honor your word, and send Tom the money for your seals, like you said you would. It is the right thing to do!:thumbup:
  20. I do, but not ready yet time wise or money wise.
  21. All I'm looking for now is broken 620 Dash bezels, or any pieces. Thanks for any help.
  22. Hey Dude, fill in the info on your profile, so we can get to know you! What part of Colorado are you in?

  23. I spotted a 57 Chevy in the first photo, are you a fellow 57 owner?
  24. I have made good progress, here is the updated list of what I need now. 1. Air conditioner compressor brackets and idler pulley. 2. Still wanting any broken 620 Dash Bezel pieces. Thanks for any help.
  25. Steve, Why no new posts in the last month? Here I am sitting on needles and pins, wondering what you are going to do Next!
