  3. Rhapakatui ~ i did buy a family car. its an 08 camry. i love it. but i let the lady drive it most of the time, so i still need something for my self. and idk about racing a diesel. the ones aroud here are pretty beefed. and yup... ill get you a pic of y i junked the dime. and the head and carb are still going on the motor i am building for my next datsun.. haha building a motor, for a car or truck you dont even have lol
  4. radio, we all know its halloween, but please dont go out tonight in that orange jump suit trying to snatch up little kids lol
  5. have you looked through this for sale section?
  6. wht was the point in paneling the rear windows? shouldnt have you done it from the outside so it looks "smooth" ? i think it just looks dumb the way it is, unless there a cool part we dont know about! god i wish i had the stuff you do... would be nice to be able to have a rotisserie, and a sand blaster, and a paint booth.. mmmmm il keep dreamin. your work looks amazing btw
  7. wild man, i did have a luv :) it was my first mini truck. i restored it half ways, frame was complete, suspension was done, cab and box were done and painted. the only thing i had to do was the interior. it got wrecked by an idiot. had the d50, drove it for a while, brakes went out, took it home blah blah blah. got chopped up. ended up with the back half of a datsun frame, and found out my motor was toast. its in a junk yard due to not being able to source another motor. got my 521, loved that truck, best tuck i have ever had, close toss up between the luv tho. and i traded the luv for a 521... worst mistake ever. i was always replacing stuff or just trying to keep it together. it was so damn rusty. so now i am with out a vehicle cuz i junked the 510. after i took almost every piece i could ever need off it. and a friend offered to sell his b3000. i found it had so many miles and said no. started searching local adds looking for an older mini truck thats not an s10, nothing was really coming up. then this b2200 with a new motor came up. i called him said i would be there at the end of the week. he calls a few nights later and says dont bother coming pretty sure i sold it. to a relative, so i wasnt too pised. couple weeks later the add pops back up! i called him and he said he didnt want it after he found out it needed a few parts like a carb rebuild and a fuel pump. i said i would be there in 5 days. i went yesterday and gave him 100 bux. i go back monday and give him another 200 bux and load it uo. the only reason i didnt pay full and take it home yesterday was no truck or a trailor to haul it
  8. sorry guys, no motor pics :( just another dirty v6 with hoses and wires all over.. will be chromes, and wire tucked by the end of the week and actually driving :)
  9. ok guys i passed on this mazda with almost 300k on it! i am now getting a 87 mazda single cab. swapped 231 buick, 250 hydramatic trans. will post pics in a few :) motor was just overhauled about 400 miles ago, been parked for about 3 years, guy just didnt drive it, and had no ambition to swap out the rear end gears. it was a manual so there a little low, so it doesnt go very fast. drove 300 miles round trip today to go look at it, and its pretty cherry, going to pick it up monday! for 300 bux!!!
  10. mmmm :) getting a car finally, after being pretty much wioth out one for a month and a half :) well except my camry. http://www.bismanonline.com/1987_mazda_b2200

  11. you should be able to buff it by hand good enough for an engine bay, as there are a lot of shadows there, it wont be as noticable. remember buffing is not alwys about the pressure applied. go slow, dont press hard, and watch what your doing. when you think it has a good shine, then clean it off, and wax it. for this application, i would jusy go get a loe or medium grade buffing compuond, nd a few pads, and a banana wax. braden gave you some great info also! he sounds like ho knows his shit pretty well. haha well i also do as i do this on a daily basis. glad to see there are some other detailers here to give a hand :) but for an engine bay, i think this would be fine in thight spots, on the outside body panels, i suggest doiung what brades said, couldnt have said it any better :) at work we use all moc chemicals, and are very good :) but i dont think you can get them. other wise, 3m, and the meguires works pretty good for the average joe.
  12. but the internals are slightley different and i am almost positive you cant swap over the pickup tubes. you have to make the pan. it sux i know.
  13. lookls nice and straight from here... take that tarp off, and take a million more pics and post them

  15. sweet man, they will look good on there!
  16. is it orange peeled, or is it just gritty feeling like over spray? im really not trying to say these guys are wrong about wet sanding it, but clay bar might just do the job, and would be really fast compared to a wet sand abd buff. and if it doesnt work, your only out a few bux, and you have it for the next time if you ever need to do a detail on a vehicle. if its just over spray or dirty, a clay bar SHOULD remove most of ther gritty feeling, then you can just wax it. or buff it if you want a high shine looking bay. just trying to be helpful and let you try some easy options.
  17. sweet truck man, was just looking at it on bisman, glws, might take time here in nd to sell it, but just wait it out, you will sell it for what your asking im sure. just a hint tho, maybe toss some black paint on them rims, looks tons better for selling a vehicle.and also get some more pics up!!
  18. i wouldnt mind number 24. looks pretty sick :)
  19. well we did get the turbo on a few weeks ago. got about 1300 miles on it now. all those miles were intown miles. ran great no problems! well today my dad took it on a 400 mile round trip. it is his car now so he has put on all those miles. well he got the 200 miles there, called me said it was runiing great and absolutley no problems! he was so happy! and i was glad for him. called me like an hour later. like 5 minutes ago, said he thinks it just spun a rod :( he is pretty upset righ now, so i gota go pick him up. feel pretty bad for him cuz he was so damn proud of that little thing, and its his only car as his truck is in the shop right now getting fixed. so it will be a couple weeks till he has a vehicle again. poor guy. well i gota go guys, just thought i would update.
  20. 13 b would be a harder swap i think, but way cooler
