ok well i got the drivers side black re painted, looks way better now! waiting on a friend to get his cherry picker over to my house co i can drop the pan and have it cut and re-welded.... then installed in truck but that might be a few days till he gets it here, so im thinking about doing all the wiring now...... before engine gets installed. will post pics of paint later :fu:

i also got bored, and didnt like the factory shifter, so i got kinda creative! was just junk sitting on the garage floor, and took about 10 mins to hack off old one and weld on new :)

well motor came out last night! a few cuts and bruises, but she came! took me and a friend and a cro bar! sucks not having a cherry picker! so for install, im going to bring it to my class at college and do it there.... im going to school for auto tech, and they let us do our own projects and stuff :)

im guessing you refering to me? lol what i started with, 1984 2wd 720, z24, 5sp what i just got for it, 1995 240sx ka24de engine with wiring so you are correct, they did not come with the ka's from factory....... you have any advice on the wiring? alls i want is a simple toggle switch and a push button...... very basic, and i want all emissions removed, will be making a block off plate for my egr tonight

not sure if thats how we will paint the box yet, we jus tossed it on there like that to see how it looked... i think i like it and here you can see jus how shitty the walmart color-place flat black applys i got some satin black that you can see i tried on the drivers door will be spraying all new black real soon finally got the gf in the shop with me today! she loves working on vehicles, so we started the removal of z24.... got the exh, cut off the stock manifold, got the bell housing bolts out, got motor mounts off, got all wires/sensors off, ready to get a cherry picker in there!!! and she was such a doll, she even kicked ass and took care of the over spray all in all, it was a progressive and fun day hoping to have it on the road within a

yea but instead of doing all that wouldnt it jua be easiest to cut the monuting flange off and put it back on 180* so its a rear sump, and just extend the pick up tube to the rear ?

just got home from a 6 hour drive to get the motor!!!!! looks to be in good condition:) so for this whole oil pan situation..... how do i go as to getting it to fit? can i jus cut the mounting lip off, and spin it 180* and exteend the pickup tube to the back of motor? is the pick up tube even weldable, or is it some super thin shit? or whats your opinions? doint the oil pan probably wont be mech of a prob, i know some great welders......

hey guys new here but i got a 1995 s-14 ka24de engine and wiring and ecu and wana put it in my 85 720 would you guys be able to draw out a quick diagram? and also, im kinda confused on the ecu's, would i need to keep my stock one along with the ka?

well i dont think im what you would call a role model, jus a high school drop out trying to make things right, and i have a love for customizing vehicles..... haha and for wheels, im guna use these stock steelies and order some full baby moon hub caps, for the ratsun look! i will also be getting the mirrors thet go on the top door lip, but just on drivers side! thanks for the compliments

ok guys im new to this site, but have been into mini trucks for a while! ok so i have jus recently piked up a 85 king cab nissan 720! stock z24, i upgradeed to a 38/38 weber, head hasket went out, and no9w want to do the ka swap! i will be picking up a ka this weekend for 300 bones! that is a complete and runing motor, with wiring and ecu! but it came out of a 1995 s14, so i need a lil help there :) as ive heard those wiring harnesses suck to work with :( so i got the truck in rough shape, did a few things to it like the carb, and deleted all emissions, and jus a good tune up, then some interior things,then a 4/5 static drop, then i did a lil body work, and painted 2 tone,(rattle can) satin grape on top, then satin black on bottom, shaved mirrors and passenger door lock well heres thwe pics, theres a few of them, so i hope you like progress pics as much as i do! and i have only had it a few months, and paid 200 bux for it! so all compliments, comments, ass hole remarks, criticism all accepted! i like to know what others rthink, im only 17, and am in college, with a full time job, so i do my best to make time for it, but its been down for almost a month now, and jus want the ka in and driving again! so all help is greatly appreciated
