Consider Kraft Tan Wateproof Panelboard My link for the door panels (since it is already moisture-resistant). However, this material is designed for sewing door panels and therefore is less dense (and lighter). Since I have the fibreboard and am already applying polyurethane to the kick panels, I may not use the panelboard. Keith

How much is a diaphram? (It may be prudent for me order an extra in case my pump fails and needs to be rebuilt.) Thanks, Keith

My 520 has a March 1965 build date.

The flickr link shows the 9 lug fuse box on my 1966 520. The paper label was not legible, so that is why I wanted a photo.

Do you have any parts for the 1961-1969 Nissan Patrol G60 (L60 or KL60 in the USA)? Do you have any parts for the 1965-1967 Datsun PL520 (has a J13 series motor in the USA)? Thanks, Keith

Dave, The project has been a series of ups and downs. The body shop I use is excellent, both in communication and technical skill. I am trying to keep the truck as original as possible, sourcing as many parts from Nissan as possible. (Today I just received a NOS alternator belt, saving me from having to go aftermarket.) The motor contains some BMC/Metro/MGA B-Series and Nissan Forklift parts, since some of the Nissan J Series parts are NLA. I am trying to decide what to do about the safety/seat belts. I am considering a 3-point retractable arrangement, rather than lap only. This may be one area I deviate from originality. I have been able to find some parts thru this forum; most members are interested in helping me by selling some parts. Keith

Do you have the tailgate chains?

I have not pressurized the fuel system, so I do not know if a R&R is sufficient. Keith

Spot welds are intact. Although Pininfarina did not design the 520, as they did the 410 sedan, my thought was that if the spot welds were approved by the designer, I should not take the liberty to "improve" on the look of the truck. Keith
