Jesse, I purchased a complete gasket set on eBay. Once I completed the teardown, I made a list of the parts I needed to go back to stock. (I looked into acquiring a J15 motor from a Datsun Forklift, however all the J15s I found were considered "rebuidable", with no warranty attached.) Since I had to do a rebuild, I decided to stay as original as possible. Be advised, because no one vendor (or Nissan dealer) has all the parts for a rebuild, UPS charges added to the cost of the parts. Keith

t is always confusing when researching parts for my March 1965 production 520. Carpartsmanual (http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsun520/Datsun520521Index/Body/Emblems/tabid/1502/Default.aspx) makes no distinction on the grill for production up to Sept 1967. The photos on earlydatsun you referenced showed a "1965 Datsun 520 grille" with amber turn signals and no emblem. (My understanding was that there were no USA 1965 520s, 1966 was the first year.) The "1966 Datsun 520 grille" has clear turn signals and the emblem. The license plate is not in English, so it may not have been for US consumption. Well the research continues. Keith
