Are there any dished pistons that work with 6 inch rods? 85-87 mm in size? Also I have 2 options. I can either run flat top pistons with a ported u67 head. Or I have run dished pistons with a 219 head. Which would be the more optimal set up? Also this is with 44mm Mikunis and a datsun comp intake. Time sensitive.

I put the original driver's side only one on my car.

I have 2 l20 cranks. One has an average of 59.93-59.94 main journal and the other has 59.92 average. Could I use standard sized bearings for both of them or should the second one be taken down to the next size?

You could do what I am doing. Stock l20 crank and block with NAPS-Z flattop pistons with 6 inch rods. Run with a u67. Definitely brings up the torque and some power. Obviously camshaft and carbs make a difference as well. I am building mine with a performance cam and 44mm Mikunis. But the piston and rod set up requires no boring and I dont know how much more performance you would get from changing the displacement vs changing the rod length.

Or you can learn to use a straight razor. I inherited a very nice german razor and have never gone back. Plus all preshave oil, shaving cream/soap, and post shave lotion are so much better for your face. And in the end theres nothing more manly or badass.

Good luck finding cams, valves, valve springs, valve cover and any gaskets. That's like having a bare FIA head with no cooling piece and no valves

Has anyone put BMW e36 seats in a 510? My seats are still in factory shape and I don't see the benefit of redoing them for 600 dollars each when I can buy almost new e36 seats for less than 400.

I agree that nobody has to buy my diff if they don't want it. But I don't deserve to be belittled by Todd because he doesn't think it's really a 4.625 ratio. And I wouldn't complain if it was one time, but every time I call I feel like my business isn't wanted. I've called several vendors before with no intention to buy anything, just for advice and they have always been understanding and given me sound advice. I can't even ask for parts that I would be willing to buy from WCR without feeling like I'm being rushed off the phone.

My "junk"? I had an r190 LSD that sold for a grand. I am spending quite a bit of money to build my car. I was going to buy Mikuni rebuild parts from him but no more. And my "junk" is under serious consideration by Troy and the guy at DP racing as well as several individual buyers. So how about you try to make less of an ass of yourself.

Yea I have a friend that is going for CRO but blew out his knee. I was going to say, USAF has pretty interesting special operations fields. Tactical weather, TACP, CCT, Pararescue, CRO (officer PJ), ALO (officer TACP), and whatever the officer equivalent of CCT is.
