    Stereo install

when i installed speakers in my 620 i just used some 3/8' plexi glass and cut spacers out with a hole cutting tool and that gave me the extra clearance to fit the magnet in, if i were you i would sand down some of that rust, self etching prime it and them paint it semi gloss black so that when they look down at your sweet new speakers they see fresh paint.
  4. ha ah aha ahahhahha !HH!H!HHAHAHHQA!H!HH!HH!H!!!!AAAA sorry man but i had to laught at that one, giving up a datsun for a honda!! sodomy!!!!!! but i can understand the crying part. keep your eye on craigslist
  5. so if i wire up the plug in correctly and i run the battery lead to it, can i do away with my stock voltage regulator? damn that thing is ugly!!!!!
  6. sorry if this is outdated or anything but i bought one of these alts todays and i bought the plug for it as well, my plug is 3 wire with the red in the s position and the other 2 in the f and l position, which is the ground for my light and where does the red go? to the back of the alternator or somewhere on the positive battery side (after the battery somewhere so it can sense the current?) i want to get rid of my stock regualtor since this one is internal, hoping to clean up the engine bay a bit!!! thanks
  7. my clutch was 79 bucks at slowreillys, i decided to go with the sachs because i can get any kind of warranty i need
  8. since when did i say it was a 200mm clutch???? wtf 225mm for trucks man
  9. i ordered the 225 mm clutch, turst me i measured it to make sure!!! its the only clutch that sachs list in their catalog for the 620, different part number for the 510 l20 anyways, i also called them to verify.

  17. http://www.wolfcreekracing.com/
  18. you say valve cover to block, i would assume that doesnt include head gasket and simply the head, i just checked it and it measured out at 4.246-4.247, is that the minimum or simply the stock unmolested measurement?
  19. thanks i will try and get those ordered!
  20. hmm thats wierd that the redline didnt do so well, hell i have already bought it i might as well try it out, ill try it and report back, although i did use the stalube and have noticed an improvement, hopefully the redline will work good if not i will drain it and go to the sta lube again, hell i just cant wait for the extra gear!! 4 speed is getting annoying.
  21. so i take my head to the machine shop the other day you have probably never heard of it, CORNETT MACHINE SHOP, its been around a long time and is located in somerset ky, they used to build race engines for THE jack roush back in the day, anyways i take my head up there to see if it is out of spec and they didnt even check it they just put it on a belt sander then they couldnt even tell me how much they took off of it, they said less than .002" but i dont beleive shit, what i need is the measurment of the head height, the distance in inches or millimeters from where the valve cover contacts the head to the head gasket mating side, hopefully it will be in spec so i dont have to shim the towers. do nto ever take shit to these jerkoffs, if you dont spend 245,000,343 for an all balls racing engine they dont give 2 shits about you or your engine, they dont measure surface finish or shit, pisses me off man.
  22. hell fire even webcamshafts racing profile only has a 285 duration, damn, dont laugh at me too much guys but how is the duration going to effect the engine hp curve, it sounds to me like its gonna be more of a high rpm monster and not so much on the lower end. although they do not list the stage 3 as a competition cam. it has alot less lift than the webcam racing profile but more duration.
  23. bro they were missing so many parts they didnt even have venturis!!!!!! they had to be rebuilt from the ground up to be any kind of useable reliable carbs, todd walrich over at wolf creek racing is doing them for me, he almost has them ready just a few more finishing touches, i beleive all he has left to do is replate the side linkages and they are done. i should have them week after next. hopefully i can get my block back together by this sunday. hainz explain to me in detail the effect of the 2 or even number 3 setting, tell me how different it would act on 1 vs 2 2 vs 3 and 1 vs 3, i can do it if it will benefeit me but now is the time to figure it out.
