  1. You'll fit in a hightop roadster, I think one of the guys that own one is like 6'5, if you change the seats out also (which is advised anyways) you'll be able to make even more room. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/21302-1968-1600-roadster This guy has a sick one for sale, just look at those pictures!
  2. lol went straight down bosozoku, waiting for the springless cars and scraping train handles now.
  3. buy a cheap bike and learn this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKttT4szNzo
  4. lol well that would be a big plus too, but thing is I can grab the body and wiggle it side to side not bolted down but on the bright side it looks like it will bend back to normal shape when I bolt it to the frame. I probably could have layed a better weld but with the mix of thin metal and flexing it just had to be pooled up. To quote my other half "It looks like someone shit a floorpan"
  5. If I could change one thing on my datto I wish they'd have used thicker metal on the roadster.. I kept blowing through the metal welding the floor in.. I even had it on my lowest settings. <_< On the bright side now my passenger wont be doing it like they are a flintsone anymore
  6. http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/cto/1757413800.html lol a little far from you though, I thought about buying it myself
  7. finished my floorpan finally! now time to bedline the interior

  8. I think he was lost to the sands of time as well as that yard
  9. a 620 is for sale down here for 500 profit time?
  10. If no rust thats a good deal.. Sucks for the previous owner..
  11. Thankfully around here the pull a parts do by the weight, as for the non pull a parts.. Havent seen a datsun in one in ages cept 280zx's
  12. bet it sounds cool though, I need that engine for my roadster
  13. just hit it with a hammer, any cracks dont buy  On a serious note though I'd use a smaller weak rare earth magnet. I use a round fridge magnet myself.
  14. well little update with some good news, shelling out cash so I can keep the house sorta.. Not my own place 100% but a shop and more time to work on the car is always better.
  15. my datsun isnt covered yet.. No need with it unroadworthy but I know my bugs insurance is killer I'm paying 101 a month for it.. No wrecks, no tickets.
  16. Nice, where did ya end up finding those gems at?
  17. shoulda asked him to send a picture.
  18. did you unhook your battery when you changed the alt? if you did you might double check that you hooked it up correctly.
  19. http://www.311s.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9547&start=0 He sells the rear ends to people that want one already done and ready, LSD is the reason most swap as an LSD for the stock rear-end is very costly. Also there are almost zero kits for adding on aftermarket parts, as for engines either the miata 1.6/1.8 or KA are the only two with no real major cutting involved that I've seen currently done.
  20. also lay it on as thin as possible and just do multiple coats, too thick and it will bubble up and you can peal it off by hand. I know a gallon seems to be enough to do two coats over my roadster including frame lol.
  21. He has 3, I don't think it will hurt for one to least have a bigger engine placed into it.. I'm betting a miata engine would fit without actually cutting the body or any major changes as they do in the roadster.
