  1. Will you do colors this time?
  2. B210 parts did come in. ACDelco black oil filter, fuel pump, carb kit = $26 shipped. Gotta love RockAuto. Hope to have pics and installation this weekend in my B210 thread.

  3. I just wanted to make sure the ports would be the same. However, I have decided to stick with what I have for now. I need to spend more money on the B210 and get it running.

Lol, nice MM. Throw some 26s on it and ride high. Oh, and vatozone spinners. Honestly, my favorite setup on most of these trucks are 15s and 16s with 8.5 wide front and 10 in the rear, but it is your truck so do what you think is best. I know a lot of guys run the Nissan Titan rims, which I think are 18s. I can't recall anyone running 20s off the top of my head, but titans and xterras look nice.
  5. So, I decide to check on the status of my order with rock auto. Says it has been delivered. The details say it was "left at front door, no sig required" at 3:47 pm. I didn't leave the house till 3:45 and got stuck in the driveway by a school bus... Man I hope it is there. Side note, paycheck was way more than expected, time for B210 love this weekend.

Most package delivery services now claim that their drivers are "independent contractors" so they don't get overtime or benefits. Bottom line, they dump package on your front porch, don't ring the bell and run like hell. I bought 100 rounds of ammo. Clearly marked with hazardous material sticker and stamped "adult signature required". Guess what I found unprotected on my front porch!

  6. Lol, had to get a smile or two going in here.
  7. I would be interested to see the balance on this build. Would you happen to be able to take it and check the weight at all corners when finished? I've been looking for a track project and this looks awesome.
  8. DTP ripped me off! He didn't send my striper pole in a timely manner and then laughed at my videos using said striper pole... Is it my fault that pole couldn't handle 265lbs of man lovin? /end sarcasm... I wanted to lighten the mood a bit. Honestly, I hope the new flares come in for you Bob, and jdmflares, please find a reputable company to make the flares or get out of the business. I understand you offer these flares because they are harder to come by now, but leaving customers this upset and putting people through this kind of hassle is bad. Please rethink your business model and provide your customers with a better experience in the future. You won't find a better group of people that Ratsun if you provide great products. Just ask CJ and the many other vendors involved around here.
  9. I know you are trying to sell the entire bed, but if it doesn't sell, before scrapping it could you get the replacement panel and side marker from the drivers side? It looks like the bed has the same seams as mine, here is a picture of the area I am talking about: Thanks and have a great day.
  10. Lol, hang the z from the ceiling. I wouldn't park the new 510 under that... I just caught up on this thread, really sorry to hear about the wreck but glad you made it out. Also, your insurance company did well by you. My aunt backed into my parked 92 gsr and the insurance said they would only give me $900 for the car... I know it was an Acura, but it was worth more than that :( Can't wait to see the next build. If I ever decide to run bags (can't decide between that or coils on the 620) I will begin picking the brains of you and Jrock :)
  11. I suggest pulling the tank and getting it cleaned/coated by a radiator shop. I just did this with my B210. The PO told me it had sat for about 4 years. When we pulled it to dump the gas, the gas was cola brown and has small bits of rust in it. I didn't pull the tank on my 620 when I got it and the filter ended up clogged. Even after replacing it it ran horribly, ended up replacing the carb with a weber and that fixed it. If I had it to do over I would have dropped the tank and replaced the lines before ever driving the truck. Edit: Clean and coat at the radiator shop cost me $80 for the B210 tank.
  12. And Wayno, I know this was an old post, but I love the kittens keeping your box warm :P
  13. If anyone gets a run of these going I would love one. I would also be down for an elephant one.
  14. Actually DTP, would you happen to know what the difference between that manifold and an L18 manifold would be? I haven't taken the time to look into it, but that may be what I need for my 620.
  15. Awesome. Now you can remove the R.I.P. tag right? Glad to see this thread alive again.
  16. Good luck. The early 240z is my all time favorite Z car :)
  17. I'm ecstatic, someone agreed with me and I have proof! Take that Mom! Anyway, just wanted to check in on the thread. I think I'm in love with your car. Makes me wish I had saved my money for a 510 instead of buying the B210, but oh well.

    New steering wheel

Perfect car alarm for my neighborhood. I think I may do this.
  19. Bittersweet. Found out not only do I have to work tomorrow, we have to work next Friday as well. ~$400 more on the check, but no time to work on the B210. The 620 is pretty round riding atm so I need to have the B210 on the road ASAP.

Know how that feels we just got our 720 goin not to long ago an now gotta get the 521 going again! Miss that truck so much!

  20. I would suggest a sunroof or maybe convertable project? If you get a chance add some pics under the hood. If your firewall is ate up with rust your best option would be a cab swap. Sadly, a cab swap will most likely require you to get an entire parts truck, which may be in better shape over all. Look at Wayno's threads where he converted 520s into kingcabs, that will show you how you will need to weld in a patch panel, if you choose to replace the roof. From what I can see in the pictures you don't seem to have a bad start. First thing I would do is clean all of that stuff out of the bed. If your truck is anything like mine, the dirt and debree will have made lovely rust holes in the bed.
  21. Great find. 510s are harder to come by in my area and people think they are worth their weight in gold (DAMN YOU LENO!!!) Follow whar racerx said. I made the mistake of spending nearly twice what my 620 cost me within a month of buying it on parts. Half of which have not made it onto the truck and may not go on the truck now (ZX 5-speed and now I'm thinking of doing a KA swap...). Make sure you go through the brake system completely before ever trying to drive the car. Check all of the seals and cylinders and make sure your brakes are bled and adjusted. There are how to's for most of the things yo will need. You already did better than sme people, including myself, by doing some research on what you will need before asking questions. Search is your friend and keep adding pictures or the pitch forks come out! Good luck.
  22. Looks like it will be a busy weekend. Work Friday night, going to ATL to pick up a bench seat, and have a ton of work to do on the B210. Sadly I think work on the 620 is getting pushed back another week.

  23. Hey bro, someone took your bed... It all seriousness glad to see all this work. Work decided that it would be fun to ruin a great weekend of working on Datsuns by making me come in and stare at a computer for 10 hours Friday night... Oh well, more datsun money.
