Maybe, but I don't plain on using top line stuff. I'm going to use hot rod flatz once I get around to painting my 620.

Rattle can it, or find a compressor and extra tank on CL, run a hose from the compressor tank to the extra tank to fill it, then a hose from that tank to a HVLP gun and spray it yourself. I don't see paying $1500 for paint on my Dattos, atleast not until I am finished with all of the mechanical stuff, and we all know that never happens. Edit: on a side note, I just finished rattle canning a horribly striped hood and cowl and it looks decent from 20ft. Maybe if I wasn't completely shit faced by the time I got to paint it would look better. As it is I didn't get all of the paint off and the hood is sorta blotchy, so I don't suggest drinking + working with fuel (had to fix carb) + working with striper before paint :P

I'll try to make it up. Have to work until 3:30am saturday morning, but I haven't went to any of the meets yet. Would be nice to get out and see some local rides. I'm still slightly embarassed that I haven't taken care of the horrible roll on paint job and silver tape stripes/accents on the 620, so I doubt I will take it to Import Alliance :P

Question, what time is the pre-meet? I see the times for the 21st on the site but not the times for Saturday.

Yea, I was wondering why in the world you would need the 24. The only reason I mentioned it is the fuse box in the pics are the same ones shown with the 24 set. The 12 and 18 only show one reloay in the lower right corner of the fuse box (looking at your picture). The 24 also comes with GM style connectors and lots of other thing that you would probably never need on a Datsun. At $400 for that kit, I think I'll stick with the 18 circuit ($270).

When all the parts you ever need for your vehicle reside in the PNW...

Is the a 24 circuit set? I have been looking at different kits and it seems that hot rod has a good kit at decent prices, but I thought their 24 was too much for my 620 (power nothing :P ).

I meant to check out the videos when I got home, but was beat from working on velocity reports from last year. Can't wait to hear it. Might sneak a peak at lunch :P

Hrm, I wonder how much a VG33 would cost from the scrap yard... VG40 sounds scary. Honestly I think I will leave that beast to people with far more time/money/skills than me. I am guessing the VG33 would be similar? I love the idea of a V6 in the 620, and the L in my B210, but I am not looking forward to cutting the firewall to make anything fit.

Another one? God man, are you on a mission to get all the 280zx trannies? Just so everyone knows, DTP is a great seller/packer. He packed my 5-speed and sent it across country, literally. From OR to GA. Side note, if you have a 280 5-speed, it would be a safe bet DTP has touched it :P

I would hope that is the problem. You would have to be pretty horrible with glass/not give a shit for those flares to come out like that using good molds.

Now that you are done and have many miles on the truck, how do you like the swap? Would you do this again or choose a different engine? BTW, I would kill for 26 mpg. My L18 with the new weber is horrible on gas, but its a few thing (no tune, hole in top of gas tank, poor maintenace from PO, ect). I get 15mpg average highway and city.
