  1. That is one hell of a work truck nanner!
  2. A few die hards have made modifications to old chevy axles when building lil petes or kennys using the 70-80 suburban frames, but even the mini big truck kits will normally only include a single drive axle. We saw one in a show at Summit with a true tandem and a heavily modified 454 engine, it was pretty bad ass :P For comparison, these are the lil pete/kennys http://www.lilbigrig.com/Lil_Kenny_Pricing___FAQ.html
  3. I too like these, there was the vert one that was mentioned earlier but I can't remember who owns it. The last pic I saw of it was gray and it was pulling an old trailer. I'd like to know more info about them, like are they true tandems or is the second axle a dead axle, but alas they rarely get any love due to it being a "joke topic". Pretty sad that they can designate multiple areas for shinanigans, but look for info on obscure aftermarket creations that aren't some slammed, race, or performance variation of a 510 and it's considered a joke. This creation reminds me of the 620 campers, which seems awesome, but I've only ever seem one (heading to the dump :( ). Just think if you could do the full long bed/tandem and add a full camper, you'd have a mini RV. That sounds like a really fun build to me
  4. That column shift!
  5. Wait, I'm worthy? Someone help me push my B210 to Canby. It's only 5484 miles round trip :P
  6. Got in the car for work this morning and the first thing I saw was the coupe sitting on jack stands, waiting for some love. Really need to finish the brakes and go for a joy ride.

  7. I actually like that as the finish. It looks Really neat imo. As far as hardware is concerned, do you know which bolts will work? I'd like to have them on hand so I'm not punching myself later :P
  8. Looking great! Is that how the top will look? It so that will be awesome :P
  9. That Z18ET looks very interesting! Thanks for the info on it. Sadly that engine seems pretty rare. I can't even find a lead through the JDM importers I've used before, but they are mostly Honda guys :poop: Can't wait to see more progress on the builds. It looks like Tim will be on the road before you get your 1200 out of the garage :poke:
  10. So, this might get me shot, but what happened to Jalen? Have him and Tristan ran off to live in BLUE's basement?

Shame really, stepped in to back him at one stage, sent him some Aussie goodness, suffice to say the guy bummed out. He could have been a player, though he bummed out and now ranks (imltho) at the same level as Laotsu

  11. Awe, that's cheating :sneaky: Just kidding, honestly just stoked to have another ratsun made part for my project. I had the ratsun oil cap for my 620, but the B210 has the 1/4 turn cap so I couldn't use it. Now, hopefully, I can use both. Heck, the A15 will even get ggzilla's old crank trigger ignition if I ever figure it out. Trying to increase the level of ratsun parts on the wrong coast one paycheck at a time
  12. Awe, I was sure I'd get #1 :P Thanks for offering these up again man. They will be pretty amazing. EDIT: Oh, I tried to find a Tomei one up for sale, it was a no go. I found this instead... http://www.ebay.com/itm/DATSUN-1200-ALLOY-VALVE-ROCKER-COVER-Fits-NISSAN-B110-B120-SUNNY-A12-A14-A15-/371054510923?hash=item566492834b&vxp=mtr Looks like :poop: compared to your design imo, and doesn't have the vent at all.
  13. Very nice. Send payment as payment for service?
  14. Well now... This seems like the mythical dark corner of ratsun :poke: Very awesome car. Looks like it can destroy many a civic and loving the new wheel setup.
  15. ^ you called it dead on with that one. I've been looking at the Z series or SOHC KA to use the turbo from my old civic build, and the Z seems like a better choice for such a small snail (built for a 1.6L) You guys read my mind, it's scary  EDIT: I've even thought about going with the Mazda B6 engine (1.6L) but that seems like too much wiring and headache :P
  16. Wow guys, this project is coming along so quickly. I wished I lived close enough to help and learn. Body work scares the :poop: out of me...
  17. My welder is basicly one of those tiny hot boxes. It's a FP120 (Firepower) MIG setup. Doesn't even accept gas, so it's all flux core :( So, this was the car that had a Z-series engine in it at one time right? I get lost on all of the projects you guys have going, but I was wondering how that setup worked out. I have heard that their heads are a real pain to work with since they are set for emissions, but it seems that the power level would be pretty perfect for B210s/1200s. Just looking at options for the 4dr so I can justify pulling the A15 for the coupe
  18. Looks perfect to me! Now to make sure the red ratsun oil cap will fit :P As far as performance, other than the seepage advantage, these probably won't show much difference compared to stamped steel. However, for those going forced induction or higher compression, it's possibly a good insurance policy againce busted rocker cover gaskets. The way I see it, anything that potentially prevents an oil leak is worth the investment. It doesn't hurt that they look amazing either  Loving your project so far Mattndew76. I probably missed it, but have you decided on a color?
  19. Thanks DF! Hope I can catch one when they hit the market
  20. All that zooking... I wish I could zook on this thin ass metal. Afraid to even try since I've only ever dealt with angle iron :(
  21. I love your 4dr... Why can't mine be this nice :(
  22. I do not have one for the L20, but I have one for the A15. On the A15, that middle section needs to be removed prior to mounting. It is only there to provide proper spacing between the posts during manufaturing and prevent possible scratching or blemishes on the manifold during shipment. I'm fairly certain that this is similar for the L20 manifold design, but you would have to try a test fitment to be sure.
  23. The last one I saw for sale was up for $1100 on ebay... That's more than I paid for both of the B210s combined...
