Stanley came through paint ok. Phew! Now a few more odds and ends before JCCS in 3 weeks. Can't wait.

Stanley needs an oil pan. Anybody know where I can source one? '81 210 A15. Found one on ebay but hoping for something closer and cheaper.

Are the hoses that go to the heater core on the 210 preformed? Getting a/c installed and my mechanic doesn't want to cut anything yet. Do I need to have hoses made or what needs to happen?

Actually found the hoses at a couple different Nissan dealers out of state. Ordered them this morning.

colourbox, I have a great condition radiator from my B210 if you need. it'll be a lot cheaper than buying a new one / rebuilding.

I appreciate the offer but it's already been done. I'm actually picking him up today. Radiator shop was running behind. My mechanic gives me good deals. I built and maintain his websites :)

The verdict is in. Stanley's alternator was bad so it's been rebuilt. The radiator is leaking too.

Stanley's battery light was lowly lit so I had the battery checked. It was bad. Got a new one. Battery light is still lowly lit. Maybe there's a short somewhere? New mystery!

I was reading the owner's manual and it said if the alternator and electrical system are functioning normally, but the electrical load is too heavy, the charge warning light may glow slightly. So I'm taking Stanley to my mechanic Monday to check the alternator and volt meter. Get this figured out.

I had a similar chain of events happen on one of my 720's. After replacing the alt, still had the faint light. Turned out in my case to be too much corrosion in one of the fusible link sections at the battery terminal. Once replaced, no more light.

Hmm interesting. My battery terminals are pretty clean but you can never tell. I'll double check that just in case. Thanks for the help guys!

Thanks everyone! I was freaking shocked. After 3rd and 2nd were announced I figured Stanley was out but even when the announcer said 1st place 1981 210 I was still looking around like who's that. LOL!

I actually make more freelancing cause I get paid my rate and OT instead of salary. And I have no patience for incompetence. I've been many places over the years and this clown was the most absolute worst I've ever dealt with in my life.

Quit my job 3 weeks ago because of the fucktard manager. Found out today someone declined my old spot because they know of said fucktard manager. Best laugh I've had all day. And at the same time he'll remain employed. Companies love incompetence.

Don't sell yourself short sometimes you have to jump from job to job to find your comfort zone. I'm pretty comfortable where I'm at even though the pay isn't all that. Bartending isn't all that bad and it's pretty easy to learn I've used to do it for 5 years.

I was there almost 3 years. Fucktard was there for 2. I refuse to stay where I'm not happy. Fuck that shit! I'm back to freelance. Start a new gig Monday that will last 5-6 months. I got enough contacts I can move on. It's all good.

While driving home today I looked at my steering wheel and wondered if I got into an accident if the cover on the steering wheel would blow into my chest and shatter my sternum as the airbag came bursting forth. I don't know why I think these things.
