  1. that's looks like a 92-95 civic center console. it looks the same as the one in my fiance's car. nice fit.
  2. so sweet, almost edible. nice pieces
  3. sorry Matwood for the late response. I have been busy with work and wedding plans. let me know if you still want the felt.
  4. I used WD 40 and it works ok but don't leave the engine stored for long like that. when you are ready to assemble motor clean off wd 40 and you should be good to go
  5. I use a glasspack/resonator up front midway on the exhaust and then use a super turbo. nice and mellow. lets engine make good power and quiet on freeway. I hear the engine more than exhaust.
  6. oem window channel felt set. good to do two windows. I believe this may fit trucks (521) also. 50.00 JDM Datsun horn button. will fit most momo and sparco or Nardi wheels. 40.00. new Momo horn button new. 30.00 old school yellow arrow version. datsun 510 hood bumpers new 25.00 jdm fuse box cover new 30.00 IM me for pictures. please leave your email. buyer pays for shipping. paypal accepted. Thank you
  7. I hope I can help explain this for you to understand but if not i can send pics of my bar hardware. the u bolts go over the axles on the backside with the threads facing the back of the car then put the sway bar d brackets and flat base plate on the u bolts and then slide the u shaped metal piece in between so that it rest on the axle over the brake lines. what this piece does is keep the d bracket from crushing the rear brake lines. not the greatest way to mount a bar but it works. Once you loosely mount the bar on the axle set the end links then drill the holes to fit the metal u shaped bolts that you will have to fish through the holes you made so that will mount the end link hardware. Hope this helps
  8. Take a look at the pics that I have posted in my background and you can see a pic of a addco bar on my wagon. I may assume the 620 may mount in the same way. Let me know if the pic helps you. I had to drill holes in my frame rail to mount the hardware for th end links to mount to. just make sure you double check and if you mount the bar to test fit. loosely put all things together to make sure it is all lined up before tightening. if not call addco and have them send you instructions.
  9. I would not go as far as saying the 22R is the most reliable as I have seen those with many head gasket issues. i would go KA as it is pretty durable. parts are readily availble here in the usa and the swap has been done many times with success. But like the other person said if you have money or time anything can be done.
  10. from the pics it seems you may have 11 mm ball joints. They are still available as I was able to get them as I thought I had 14mm but found out my car came with 11mm units. if you can not get them let me know as i should be able to get them from you.

  12. have you tried Rod's datsun parts or Z car garage or DGR fabrication or Troy Ermish. They are all in your area and may have lots of parts
  13. Did you still need inserts for the front? I think I can get those for you. I am in the bay area. Did you talk to Troy Ermish also?
  14. I used to go through this when I did a lot of Honda stuff but it was easy for most part as long as you have all the parts installed it should pass the referree. the laws and state are tough. If you put a newer motor in you have to put all the emmissions items and make it look and respond as oem as possible. I know it sounds like a lot of work but if you look in the long run once you do this and get it to pass the referee and put a more quiet muffler I bet the car will still feel strong. be clean running and better gas mileage and you will be up to date on laws as I bet california will make it tough for all of us that own older cars and would want us to conform to new laws or make us try to get rid of the older cars. I myself have been thinking of going with a KA and making it all stock just so I can stay on top of what may happen for the future. Good luck but I know you can do all of this and make it work. It will be tough but at least the experience will help you learn a lot.
  15. If you use a KA head on a L block or Z block it wouuld not be so tall as the head from a KA is shorter than a L head. I myself was going to make a Z 24 block with a KA head as I hear it hauls ass if set up correctly.
  16. I personally would do the de swap like you want and keep it as close to stock for a while. It will have enough power and be reliable. just remember to keep it reliable do the swap as clean as possible as hack wiring and half ass installs hurt a lot of people. I would not bother getting the TC rods but that is up to you. I would rather save the money for other stuff. I would pass on the camber plates also but then again up to you. I have zx brakes and don't use any of that stuff. I use a 2" block and it works fine even for 4 people. I would not go any lower. you can check out my pics on flickr under smart monkey or myspace under garagelife. feel free to IM for questions
  17. for me I really like Tokico products. very easy to attain. consistent performance, works well with aftermarket springs. KYB is more of a stock replacement. I liked Koni but have not used them on a datsun yet
  18. I don't have a KA but I have a LZ2.3 from rebello and it is making as much HP and Tq as a KA and it helps move that car a lot. for sure the torque would help you and if you use the fuel injection that would be nice for daily driving and gas mileage around the city driving. you may notice the torque may seem weak as I think the gear ratios in the back are 3.7. I am looking at changing the diff to 4.11 Good luck and chronicle your build.
  19. try some of honda guys websites that sell jdm parts. I may bring some back from Japan on my next trip in september
  20. It is the combination of look and feel. I personally like momo and Nardi wheels over grant mainly due to the look and feel. It is all up to the individual.
  21. benzo

    My new 510

that is one nice car. great color scheme. are you still running a L series motor?
  22. Yeah I have been to super autobacs and it is cool. sort of a fancy kragen. pretty nice and of course clean and orderly. Japan is a trip for car stuff and I love it.
