  1. I just couldn't leave without a pic of that.

  2. No,some fabbing was required.I can get some tight shots if you need them.
  3. 4 speed shouldn't even be in the conversation. If shifting doesn't bother you, then the 5-speed is superior in every measurable way.
  4. My LZ-23 has 4.37's behind it now.I have a 3.89 set ready to go.For just driving the 3.70's would be fine, but i still need to use it as a truck.
  5. Did we talk on CL? I believe these are out of a Neon-so i was told. Grills,i have. Side badges with the tits still on them is a tall order. THere are dash covers but not padded. If you like them you can get Hurst ball or T-handle from any speed shop. Glass,i'm checking on today. Window seal-find the KC 1/4 window gasket topic and order it from Tom.
  6. Cam determines powerband-NOT tuning.
  7. No 2 into 1 will fit with the factory bags. Zed?Her name is Taarna.

  10. Check the battery and then the terminal on the back of the alternator-the two should jive.
  11. If too much has been milled off the head, you have to shim them.

    Jesters LZ Build

They came from Rebello-i lost all the paperwork on the motor,so i have no cam specs or slug info.
  15. Chevy 305....shoulda went to the scrapper right off the assembly line. Not one redeeming quality about it.Ford's Eco-boost:sorry guys, but Ford did it's homework on this one.
  16. Best shop is Primarily Japanese: http://primarilyjapanese.com/ Call and ask for Jon. FOr body stuff call Jim at Beep-Beep: http://www.superpages.com/bp/Tucson-AZ/Beep-Beep-Foreign-Parts-L0017625519.htm He's currently doing a L-24 into a 720. Jon also runs the local Datsun club/group.
  17. CRS abates!!! :P Well, just for a little while.I think the 720 set-up had to be used to still retain the use of 14 inch rims.THe D-21 set-up requires 15" or larger wheels.
  18. I used to read meters in the summer.Ohhh, thew stuff i found.Came home with a fully option 67 GTO for $600.00.Then when i had the CATV business,i was hanging from poles everywhere.I found a Bug-eyed Sprite,a 68 Camaro and TWO 67 Chargers in a 4x8 block area. Now i see things from the tracks (and 12 feet up)that street "goers" don't see.I've spotted a 69 Judge,a 70 Roadrunner & a 70 Formula Firechicken. Today i saw this It's a COMPLETE 620KC at the SCRAP YARD.They pay $205.00 a ton.So that's in the neighborhood of $350.00 to scrap a Datsun instead of finding a home for it.This my friends,is the beginning of the end.
  19. Strange that Mike didn't mention the D-21 thing. What's the diff between the late 720 & D-21 rotors?
  20. You sure on the D-21?Late 720 will work( i just did it),but when i talked to Mike K.-he didn't mention D-21's as a bolt in.
