  1. I think that when you are doing a legit Hako build, youre going to pay what it takes to finish it. If I was going to be doing lots of carbon (which I would, if it I ever own one) I would buy those. Epic mirrors are epic.
  2. Would the fact that it's belt driven not make this a supercharger by design? Superchargers are belt/pulley driver, while turbochargers are air driven. Either way, I didn't know this was an option for 510s. Seems interesting. GLWS
  3. Man, I really need to learn metal-work. Its looking good; Ill be watching this thread.
  4. Per rules, you are required to post a price... unless youre only interested in those trades.
  5. If you look at my first post in this thread where I listed my future plans, I originally wanted ITBs... always been a fan. If the KA isnt garbage when its dropped off, I may scoop it up. We shall see. I also have a connection for a secret engine that may one day wind up in the 510. We shall see though. Me and a buddy are still working on the specifics. I appreciate the video as it still gives a small drive for ITBs.
  6. Ill talk to my boss about it next time Im working. The only issue I see is liability with people working and using tools in a shop that isnt theirs. Would be nice though... I know my boss is looking for new ways to make money and looking for some exposure. Would be nice since he has a welder, a bunch of hand tools, a bunch of shop space, and a lift (looking to pick up a second one). We could also be the middle man for all the parts needed and could have them waiting at the shop for when everyone shows up for that day.

  8. If you wanted to go very simple, just start your own forum. They are free, easy to set up, and you can section it by area. It allows people to sign in and have accounts, and some are already built in to have supporters. That would be easy and nothing fancy. It would just be a forum for only the garage meet ups. I wonder if my work would let me do something like this... but instead of going around to everyones garage, you could get your car into the shop and everyone could work together. Maybe have a very reduced shop fee... could be a working BBQ. *mental cogs turning* hmmm
  9. So Im getting pretty tired of the L16... its a gutless wonder and its not performing like I want/need it to. Its horrible going up hills, it barely jumps into traffic, and since the GG meet seems to smoke a little. Im itching to L18 and peanut swap to get a little more oomph in my driving. A friend of mine is thinking about just giving our shop a KA since its just sitting around his place... maybe I will think about that. Either way I need something. Coming home on the freeway my speedometer was acting crazy. It seems to work good up to about 40... then I think after that its about 10mph off since I get passed by every car while Im doing 60mph (per the gauge), and then at about 70 the needle goes crazy and jumps everywhere. Thats normal for me, but yesterday the needle jumped all over and was about about stuck around the 100mph area, even while going 30mph. Im hoping its the cable loose or something.
  10. Hmmm... You could easily set something up on your own server if you were willing. I could whip up a site in a heartbeat to get something going. I guess youre right, there are enough people in the Seattle area to set something up. Would be a nice once a month meet.
  11. Nice. And cheaper than the other manifolds I was looking at. I think those might be my number one candidate right now and will be easier then fabbing up my own.
  12. Looks goog. You should remove the rubber bumper over-riders and it needs moar loar. Then just daily it... Welcome to the site.
  13. Id like for the "Full Version" button to take you to the desktop mode while in mobile. Right now it just takes me to the top of the page... I hate the mobile version and would like to not use it if possible.
  14. Im from Cali and go back often-ish so who knows... I might swing by.
  15. Man, if you werent all the way in San Fran I would pick these up. GLWS
  16. You might want to enlarge the text... it might be a little hard for our older members to read. GLWS.
  17. Sounds like a cool concept... too bad Im nowhere near your area.
  18. Awesome... thanks. Ive used those before and the urethane ones are good quality.
  19. Looking good! I love the '68 grilles... very nice. Man, I really need to mount my bumper lights. Every time I see yours it reminds me, but I never want to drill into my bumper. I might have missed it when you got them, but what mud flaps are those?
  20. I see hes in Mukilteo... Drifting is huge in this area, but the problem with that is that everyone up here does it on the cheap. Everyone pretends they can drift around here, but everyone blows. Cheap crap cars, no skill, and fucking crazy antics that could hurt someone. I have some friends that legitimately drift up here (Like my buddies 2JZ swapped 240), but these "kids" kill me...
