  1. Gears are turning... I have plenty of Miles saved up from United for a free ticket anywhere in the US. Is there a couch to crash on?- I could always sleep in the 610 I guess haha
  2. Whats everyone bringing to eat? Lets coordinate to make sure there arent 45 bags of no salt chips and a thing of fruit jello.
  3. Whats in the box, son?! Im dying to know...
  4. Price? I wonder what the cost of gas would be to road trip it...
  5. Its a total mess, but looks like it still has so many good parts. Fuck me I wish I could snag this. Just a bit out of distance and price (even at the steal of $1k).
  6. Any Portland area members coming up for this?
  7. I wish it wasnt in Portland. I would be pulling out money right now.
  8. Although I know the other members quality is high, he only offers black... which for me is a deal-breaker as I'd like to restore the brown/champagne interior. What's ETA on having chocolate carpet kits?
  9. Never seen full block ones, though I assume they would just look similar to the TE37 rim, but with a larger step lip. XR4s only came with black sided centers from the factory... I have seen gold sided centers though and they looked ok.
  10. So did Steven Tyler with Liv. She was the sex symbol in one of Aerosmiths videos.
  11. I figured that was how they were going to come out... Ive seen rims Jon has already done in that color. Will look awesome.
  12. All items are required to have a price... GLWS

  14. Did you text me? My phone was turned off... somehow I was disenroled from autopay so I never paid my phone bill... oops! So if you texted me, I didnt get it until I sent you something. And that dumpmaster is sweet. Got an email back. Its a clean title, but hes selling for a friend so unsure of head/block. He thinks its a 76 which would make it an L20, but it could have been switched around at some point. I said I would look at it this weekend sometime. Port Townsend is a bit north of me, but I can check it out if you really want. Ive never been to the yard up there so maybe Ill see something cool. Just let me know.

Rasterizing converts a vector to a pixel based image. Youd want it the other way around... since vector graphics are math based images and not pixel based, they look exactly the same no matter what size they are. They dont get the same blowout effect that you do when you take a tiny pixel image and blow it up larger. This image is ok at the size it is now (personally I would fix the aliasing), but say you wanted it as a poster for your room or garage. Once you blow it up from the size it is now to poster size it will be horribly choppy. Just trying to look out for you... you say youre trying to "copywrite" your stuff so it makes me think you want to keep it looking nice and possibly use it for something in the future.
  16. If not, I may have one as well. Ill check my stuff today when I get home. Ill fire you a text Phantom.
  17. If that falls through there was a set available at a local yard up here as well.

Aliased on the left and anti-aliased on the right. The process is used to make lines and such more fluid. You can see a few areas on the outline of the truck where the straight lines are choppy. The most noticeable areas are the hood, the top of the bed after the rear wheel, and the bottom of the bed just forward of the rear wheel. You can either anti-alias them yourself or redraw the truck in vectors so that you can resize this image to any dimension for your needs. Personally I would go the redraw route.
  19. Glad to see you doing work on this thing... was a cool truck when I saw it at The Old School Reunion.
  20. Ignoring the stupid post above me, Ive notice that many places will install a skinnier tire if youre courteous. It will depend on how much you think is small. Ive done it a few places and some of them will just be like, "You know it will look weird, right?" I just tell them its fine and they do it. Now I wouldnt really call it stretching, as the tire is close to fitting. What size tire are you trying to fit on what size rim?

You should work on your anti-aliasing in that "Keep Calm" image.
