  1. Damn... JRock coming in here telling you what's up. Not holding back!
  2. Where in Guam are you from? I've been there apromamately eleventy billion times.
  3. Good fix Gojira but at least teach him to fish... You posted your images using the code button. You want the button that looks like a Polaroid. Then you paste the URL in the window that pops up. Or you can just post the code from photobucket picture page and paste it into your post.
  4. So is that you in the above 260z BW photo?
  5. Thank god for your wife... Just save a few extra dollars to purchase some spray paint. Do a good prep and spray it on. Get one of those can handles to help you out. You will be far happier in the long run.
  6. Still waiting on CAD pics. Are you making the entire vent? Will these only be for 68/69 or 70+? Because not only is the material different, but they install differently as well.
  7. If you really need the money then by all means sell it, but to get rid of it because of a simple timing issue is a bit ridiculous IMO. I'm sure someone local wouldnt mind coming over to take a look and help. Plus with being the MADTYTEJDMYO drifting capital there are plenty of KA guys in the PNW. It would also be easier to sell if it ran properly. Either way, GLWS.
  8. You have to have your insurance company look at it before they insure it? I don't think the duct tape will help...
  9. It's interesting that you mention you don't care what it looks like... But you care what it looks like so you want to tape the whole car. Duct tape is the ugliest shit ever. Hobbes is right: it will be a giant pain to get all the residue off. I have seen an Evo completely covered in painters tape which looked decent. But that's not crappy duct tape and it peels off quick. Snatch up some Rustoleom and paint it that way. There's many guys out there rocking cheap paint jobs. If you're hurting for money so bad you're considering tape as a viable solution for a paint job, then maybe you need to hold off and save some more.
  10. I always lurk in this thread and every-so-often a picture pops up that makes me really want a Z to build. This is a fine example of one such picture. *sigh* Time to search Craigslist for a shitty shell to drool over...
  11. Pretty rare. Whats more rare is that I see center-caps. Do you have all 4?- those are the hard items to find if they are all Techno Racing center-caps. The only problem I see that the rims are 13s which means you have to have stock brakes for. Anything larger and you need bigger rims, but thats nothing a rebarrel cant fix (made hard by the fact that its a 1-piece rim so you cant remove a lip). Ive never seen a set of those for sale. And to fill you in on the full name, they are called Hayashi Techno Racing TRVs. Are you interested in selling?
  12. That makes it even worse... I didn't see the Toyota frame comment. At least it was a rotting shell in a yard than a nice one. I guess he can't do much worse than it is. I hope it gets cleaned up and saved.
  13. This thread confuses me... its about a Japanese truck about to be powered by a Ford engine owned by a Chevy guy? I feel like this project is going to get scraped quick.
  14. Yep, I did not post the pen drawing. I didnt bring it up since I thought that image was posted in Insomniacs quite some time ago. I thought I remember a lot of members saying the liked the green eyes and red hair so when I went on the redhaired posting spree I made sure I included it.
  15. Levi is now in Oregon so I think shipping would be required John.
  16. Maybe NOS pieces... Ive seen a few metal ones go for around $100. Those are the last maybe 3 sets Ive seen, maybe Ive just been seeing good deals though. Plastic 70+ are sub $50. There is a set of metal ones on eBay right now for $180 out of Thailand, but Ive noticed Thai prices are usually a little higher than current going rates on things. Edit: You just beat me to the eBay listing.
  17. This page needs more pictures:
  18. 69 are metal too btw. The last set I saw for sale was $75. Im not too sure what you mean by "custom." Do you currently have any 3D models of designs youre thinking of producing? I bet you would get more interest if you threw some pictures up to accurately describe what youre talking about.
  19. That never would have left my sight if I owned that... theres a 411 local here for sale that needs brake work. I keep thinking of picking it up. What this project costing you about?
  20. You should take the front cover off the clock, black out the white center and put the sticker inside. That would make it perfect.
  21. Hmmm did you think of taking the movement out of another wall clock?- maybe something with stainless arms and numbers. Let me search some Target/Walmart items. Edit:
  22. I thought of something similar, but I was going to mount the clock movement directly to the center of the cover so the air cleaner was the clock and not just a frame. You did a great job, looks great.
  23. Are you talking about the emblem that looks similar to this: |||||||D|||||||
