  1. Youre cooking with Jerky?
  2. That sounds acceptable... minus the safety meeting. I do actually almost have rice done. Goes with the chicken I made for dinner.
  3. Really? Damn. I better throw a hissy fit, quit the site, and come back a week later with a worse attitude. That will fix things.
  4. Nice photo dump! What are the plans for the VG? Stock swap or since its already apart are you going to rebuilt it a little?
  5. What happened to your immaculate spelling and grammar? :poke:
  6. Obviously not... "Im not here to sell parts" and "I dont sell parts" are two totally different things.
  7. Finished work I think... similar, but a slightly different direction:
  8. I like how the jet engine is held on with straps. Thats some high quality shit right there.
  9. Haha that might take awhile... im rooting for you!
  10. Yeah normally I just chip it all up and lay it on the floor pans so theres no awkwardness to applying it. I agree it could be weird holding it up like that, but wanted to throw it out there just in case. Liquid nitrogen would be nice, but I doubt that a canister and sprayer would be easy to obtain or cheap.
  11. Let me check some books I have. I have pulled them out of the box since I moved so I have to locate them first...
  12. I would imagine the wagon would be heavier... If I remember correctly, my 4dr. is around that weight. I would think the larger wagon with a solid rear-axel would add more weight.
  13. Like I mentioned to Red a couple comments up, I hope there are no ads either. I just mentioned what a previous site enacted and how there were benefits to being a vendor. I totally agree on the point of member first, vendor second. Obviously mods have right to refuse people... I wouldnt want 1000 vendors selling something slightly related to Datsun or automobiles clogging up the FS area. And yes, Dave is a perfect example of member/vendor  Always a great guy. Ive mentioned it before in passing, but another option (non-classifieds related) would be to have a mandatorily read PM system. Mods can send out a PM that everyone is required to read prior to continuing on to the forums. You can use it for updates or announcements that verifies that someone has been notified. Or it can be used for new members with site rules, 25 posts rule, and how to post pictures. It would keep a lot of repeated threads down because people would have to read it instead of just hoping people read it through the stickies. Obviously those dont work...
  14. Are you talking about this? Thats the cached site map that Google has. Either two things need to happen for that to change... either Thomas needs to update the site map code or Google needs to re-index the site (I dont know what their periodicity is on that). I dont think anyone wants ads on this site. It does just fine without them...
  15. Maybe its a stripped out camper sell instead of just a topper. Its a weird shape to be just a topper... the coils would be for the added weight.
  16. Ive only seen people upgrade proportioning valves when going full discs.
  17. The classifieds used to just be a section of the regular forum pages so you didnt have to alter the search box. If you click on the word "Google" and radio select 'Classifieds' then the search works perfect and will direct you to the new Classifieds Add-on.
  18. I speak of those options because thats the way it was on some previous car forums which seemed to work out. Vendors would pay whatever the fee was to be a featured vendor (usually wasnt a lot and was a one time deal). For that, they got their own section in the vendors area and a banner ad for the site, and now with the fact that ads expire over 14 days, it would be cool to make their ads unlimited. There was also a vendor only discussion section that regular members couldnt see (Im sure you have a moderator section similar) where they could talk about pricing, success with online sale, etc... whatever business people talk about. They could pool thier collective info together to help each other out. Obviously if you have a long running member thats donated plenty, you can waive the vendor fee, but if someone new here wanted those business features then they would have to pay. Once again, just a thought. Not sure how many of the current mods have been mods on other boards so not sure what everyones experience is. Just throwing out some past experience to try and help along the board.
  19. Yep, if your fuse box is corroded you can always give it a vinegar bath and give it a good scrub.
  20. You could try dry ice. Wear some heavy leather gloves and hold dry ice up to the stuff... once it freezes it should be easy to quickly chip off. Its the fastest way Ive removed interior sound deadening from cars.
  21. Youre the first person Ive ever seen complain about it being too stiff. Interesting. I know for me, when I switched to ZXs I did a full fluid flush, replaced the lines with stainless, and installed new pads. My brake pedal pressure is pretty soft. Ive never bottomed the pedal out before stopping, it works great... just way too soft.
  22. You should hang this bish from your mirror. Super cool piece.
  23. S14... That thing looks great! Im sure its a blast to drive. Clean and stealthy, I like it.
